How about "FoXtra 9"? That would be a creative use of the X and emphasize the channel number of the current MyTV station.

This had been rumored for awhile. He was going to step down last year I think, but decided to renew only for 1 year. The 5P/9P spot is likely going to be a choice between Scott and Rafer. They don't need to make any more changes (moving Corey) in the morning. Best to leave GDC as is for now to continue to build ratings and such.

What would WWOR rebrand itself as? Fox 5 Plus? Jersey 9?

That's a shame. All the best to him and his family's situation. I think they could make a decent transition to Schneider, McPherrin, or even Weigel, because there doesn't appear to be such a high pressure around the place like with previous regimes. They've shown reasonable stability, improved their product, and the new set has shown that corporate is willing to invest. They may not build viewership, but I don't see them losing a ton like during previous transitions.

He hasn't anchored in years (I'm talking at least 15+), so this was a big surprise. His delivery was unique in large part because it's outside of what he normally does, but he was fine. He didn't do the 10P, so I'm guessing just the 4P, 5P and 6P. I wouldn't be surprised if they get Charlie to sub at some point as well.

He was on at 6, too. Not sure if he did the 10, but you may want to check the 1am rebroadcast, if so.

Finally something to break up the endless Cosby Show reruns... Oh yeah.... How come TVone is the ONLY network (besides Centric) that can take an originally 60 minute show...and turn it into a a 90 minute show??? Try an extra "booty load" of commercials. Not even AMC is that bad!
