Are there any updates on the sets progress or when it will debut?

Perhaps that's the case and perhaps Lori is only doing part of the show or it's a longer show or Lori is doing the show with both Greg and Rosanna. Imagine if enough backlash causes Lori to move to evenings or even for wnyw not to go thru with Lori anchoring and they instead paid out her contract? Who knows.

It's also possible that Lori is really taking over for Dari and ftvlive got the wrong info and wnyw is planning to can Dari tho hasn't told her yet.

Now I'm wondering whether KIAH in Houston would acquire This TV, since they're only a handful of Tribune stations that don't carry it along with WITI and WJW. From KPRC's FCC ownership report, it looks like their carriage deal expires next month. Not sure if they've renewed it with the station or not.

Personally, I prefer just to start the newscast with no headlines at all.

Something I've been meaning to share, which may be a find, but for now TOTAL speculation! I'm thinking the late and great Eddie Horst may be the composer behind the WBTW 1991 theme used during "The Best of Two Worlds" era. He has a BMI listing for that station and the open on the NMSA sounds like his style of work. His theme for "Crisis in the Gulf" and some of his WAGA work also reminds me of the WBTW 1991 open. Wonder if WBTW was a part of a Peters Production and Peters contracted out the production to Horst? A side thought: considering WBTW and WMBB were once owned by Spartan Communications, I additionally ponder if all of this early 90's stuff may be some type of Peters/Horst collaboration? Are there any TEGNA stations that start their morning newscasts at 4am? WKYC is going to make that move on September 5th.

Are the legacy Fisher and Allbritton ABC affiliates now tied together with KDNL and the other Sinclair ABC affiliates? I'd be surprised if they weren't.

GDNY is NOT going national. I'd bet the farm on that one. Does anyone remember "Good Day Live?" That was the national spin-off of Good Day LA. It was a huge fail. The flashy style of big market morning shows doesn't resonate well with viewers in Nebraska.
