  1. No one has switched. After more than a decade of a rumored standardized package, it'll be VERY clear when somebody debuts the new look.

  3. I’m going to miss the California O&O package (KABC, KFSN and KGO). Even though there are different colors, variant schemes, different consistencies with the fonts on 3 of the stations, It was the most simplistic look without fancy animations and all the bells and whistles.

  5. Reviving the live version of “COPS” will do nothing to build NewsNation’s credibility as a news network. That’s like saying because the stadium sells the best hotdogs the team will be the best in the league. Yes, viewership may increase. We can’t discount the numbers Live PD was pulling. But that’s comparing apples to oranges when it comes to building the credibility and respectability of the NewsNation product. Let’s not conflate the two.

  6. Switched over to sister station Telemundo 47 for a bit and I must say their studio looks better than WNBC's. WNJU's set gives a terrace with a view kind of feel. I like that Ch 47's video wall occupies the entire shot, and you don't see the frames or wooden bottoms like Ch 4's set.
