A bit, I watched This Morning recently and there was a panel at 5 in the morning, seriously? I just woke up, I want the headlines not some talking heads talking about the same stories that I knew when I went to bed, and I think thats the problem with the weekday This Morning, it's too stiff, too political.

I don’t know when exactly it started this week but KABC brought back talent opens to the newscasts for the first time since 2012. I just caught one at 4:30 this evening.

WXMI Fox17: GMFB Overtime will be aired 1AM to 2AM ICrime second run will air at 2AM to 2:30AM, Person, Place, Or Thing 2:30AM to 3AM, then 3:30AM to 4AM. If Friends is moving or if that be weekend only in the late hours on late Sat/Early Sun as is and, in the afternoons, when there aren't any sports on during winter/spring/summer. Just For Laugh Gags could be leaving or weekend Only which would be weekend afternoons as well.

Trust me... there isn't a lack of coverage of the DNC nor is it back of minds for us here in Chicago. There is good balance (amongst the local stations) of having people at the convention and people back at home base (in studio). I agree, it nice to see the anchors, who don't do much (or any) field reporting/anchoring working outside of the studio. But more importantly, you have to have someone in studio to handle any breaking news that may occur. When protestors starting to breach security zones (taking down fencing, etc..), WFLD (for example) had their anchors in studio handle that rather than the team inside the United Center.

After years of resistance post-Oprah, KVUE is finally launching a 4pm in September. No word on where Inside Edition and Extra will move to in Austin yet, but my money says both shows replace DBL at 3pm.

I wish KUSA's set was this bright and large. Since DBL is ending, maybe 9 will move their set over to the DBL studio, which, I think it larger? I could be wrong.

THIS JUST IN: WPVI (6abc Philadelphia) has officially SWITCHED and it looks GREAT!!
