  1. KTVI and KDVR would be great candidates for this package... Nexstar has some big FOX stations in larger markets that would make them stand out

  2. Found another ratings note... WOFL is getting those attractive demos (A25-54). #1 at 7am, 5 and 10pm. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/ugcPost-7313668147201335297-M3KU?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&rcm=ACoAABqGw-0BrOQ_9csrv95OAtvM37gqLkE_dSc

  3. 40 years on Charlotte television. He joined when it was WPCQ and Odyssey Partners without local news being produced. Now it's WCNC and TEGNA with local news on. Its the anniversary of Larry Sprinkle at WCNC. This so happens to be his final week in the morning as he'll shift to do inspirational stories (since he's a forecaster, not an accredited meteorologist). Chris Mulcahy is taking over his spot. https://youtu.be/wpz5iZvpiBA?si=MYrB5lV_zTyoPr8X

  4. No. It was a dig at "The Challenge." They'd need to come up with a better format if they want to make something work on a weekly basis.

  5. If Deborah ends up a Sunday Morning contributor, I will howl.

  6. Another "problem" for WCBS management to solve. The rotation of meteorologists at night, Maurice's replacement at 5pm and a possible departure of Mary Calvi from the morning shift. Although, I think Cindy Hsu will likely take over the morning news.

  7. So Chris and Jacqui are both out after being removed from Storm Center a little over 5 months ago. The fact that they both left at almost the same time tells me that both of them were not being renewed by TWC. As for the Allen station hits, I'm told that Carl Parker and Todd Borek are two of the OCMs doing those hits. Not sure if any others are involved. With Chris and Jacqui gone, plus Carl and Todd focusing all efforts on the local hits, plus Jim Cantore and Alex Wilson off today, TWC went with a super bizarre OCM lineup for today's severe weather coverage. AMHQ Shift 1: Stephanie Abrams, Jordan Steele, and Reynolds Wolf AMHQ Shift 2: Jen Carfagno and Molly McCollum TWC Live: Alex Wallace and Felicia Combs Weather Unfiltered: Chris Bruin and Dr. Rick Knabb Extra 10pm-2am ET shift: Dr. Greg Postel and Mike Bettes So apparently the strategy was to move everyone downward from their normal timeslots just to fill out the schedule.

  10. If Mary Calvi is chosen to replace Deborah, will she be able to balance it with her work at WCBS?

  11. Deborah leaving Inside Edition felt imminent. Mary Calvi is hosting most of the times I happen to catch the show.

  13. Was this a dig at me? I don't care all at much for The Challenge...just merely offering it as a suggestion.

  18. 44 years in the business, the last 15 years at WPTV, and at WTVJ for a good chunk before that... Michael Williams is finally hanging it up and retiring on Friday. One of the true great anchors and guys in all of broadcasting. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1206938464130401&id=100044427759775 CORRECTION: I said a dozen years at WPTV, but actually joined in 2010 so 15 years.
