What's going to happen if the FCC denies the deal? They're back to square one, or will Byron Allen gets another chance to acquire Tegna?

WFAA, KHOU, and KVUE going from Tegna to Cox, the owner of WSB, WFTV and WSOC? That's an upgrade. It's not the old Belo, but it's pretty good for this era.
Same for KIRO/Seattle

I'm disappointed that AMG lost the bid to get Tegna, but I'm happy that WFAA, KHOU, KVUE, and WLNE will be part of Cox Media Group.
IMO, I'm not happy that the rest of the Texas Tegna stations are not going to be part of CMG.

I think Byron Allen would've been better merger than Apollo/Standard General in my opinion.
I'm more than 100% agree to that, and I'll drink to that. I said it before, Byron Allen is the only one he can clean up the mess Tegna made.

KTVT jumped on the First Alert bandwagon, as well. Appears this is likely gonna be the standard across the O&Os.

Sad news to report, a well-known news anchor in my area was arrested on suspicion of DUI last night. The video of the anchor ramming the other car and getting arrested was overwhelming to watch.
im not going to post it. You can put the puzzle pieces together and will most likely hear about it this weekend.
I have a good feeling about who it is. His career is getting tarnished.
