It just seemed like you were questioning my initial post, as if I was imagining things or making them up. I am sorry if I misinterpreted what you were trying to say.
I think at the time he anchored weekend mornings was during the era where CBS3 had cut Saturday mornings. He may have left before Saturday mornings returned. As for filling in, he's filled in for Ukee weekday mornings and also for Natasha on weekend evenings. Regardless of what you "found", I live in the Philly DMA and have seen it with my own eyes.
I've read that CBS O&Os may pick up Hot Bench as a replacement. Could also see WBBM airing The Insider with a second showing of ET, Millionaire, or even Inside Edition (yes I know WLS has a had it forever).
As for WLS, I wonder if they would end up cutting more news to make room for The F.A.B.? Like moving Jeopardy to 4:30, and dumping Inside Edition, or moving it to either 11:30am or 12midnight.
Yes, I would not want to do that. But not sure where you got the idea that I was implying that, as I am fairly certain that Sharrie only works Monday thru Friday currently. So adding the Friday noon is not adding an additional day. Adding Saturday evenings would make it a six day work week (not seven), but they could give her off Mondays so that she would remain at 5 days per week.
Looks like Adam Joseph will be off our screens for a little bit of time: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/entertainment/television/6ABCs-Adam-Joseph-leaving-TV-last-forecast-tonight.html
I assume they'll use fill-ins (mainly Melissa Magee) instead of just letting Cecily do all the evening/night newscasts.
Googled it and came across this: https://m.facebook.com/69WFMZ/photos/a.10151341241565557.828681.37677635556/10154642932295557/?type=1&source=44&refid=17
Seems it'll be same setup as 5&10, with part of it LV and the other part Berks.
I think they air four episodes of Judge Judy a day. Perhaps they'll cut back to two a day and reshuffle the rest of the line-up?
Hopefully, with Jim & Melanie on at 4pm, they will utilize them as fill-ins on the 5,6,&10, instead of solos when one anchor is off.
Where'd you see the billboard?
I think this might be a first: Action News at 7pm (when it usually airs on Saturdays during college football) is airing on 6.2 (LiveWell) tonight because there is also racing.
I know the President spoke today starting sometime in the 11am hour. Don't know what time it ended but it could be possible that that pushed the noon news start time back a little, hence the late weather?
Watching NBC 10 News at 4pm, and it looks like they are doing it on a temporary setup/anchordesk from the interview area they use towards the end of 11am news. I wonder what's up!?!
I have to comment that I always thought that the name change was stupid to begin with. I know they dropped the "Tonight" because they wanted to let people know that they are available all day online, which is great, but that broadcast only airs in the evening, hence why they should've never gotten rid of the Tonight. They did not change "World News Now" and although they did change "World News This Morning" it is because they changed it to "America this Morning" with the "this morning" remaining.
I wonder who will replace her on weekend evenings. I think it'd be smart for KGO to move either Carolyn Tyler or Katie Marzullo to weekend evenings. Whoever they don't move, that person can anchor both weekend morning days as opposed to the current setup where Carolyn anchors Sundays and Katie anchors Saturdays.
