Sharrie Williams is who I'm betting on, although I could see Sarah take on the 4pm (although that would take her off Sundays) and Monica taking on the 10pm. Dark horse candidates: Alicia Viterrelli, Eva Pilgrim, Tamela Edwards, or a reporter.

Chris Lawrence gets 4pm, and Erika Gonzalez takes over weekend evenings. Chris will probably take over the 6pm once Jim retires in 2017.
-
I can see that or Chris Lawrence. If Jim does get the 11PM, I see some other shuffling happening (possibly with the 4PM).

http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/wrcs-jim-vance-leaving-11pm-anchor-spot/146444 - WRC-TV's Jim Vance will step down from the 11PM show sometime in May. He will continue to anchor at 6PM through 2017. His successor at 11PM to be named later today.

Appears Saturday only and after SNL, not The Tonight Show.

Actually, I believe the maximum times a team may appear on SNF in a season is four. Furthermore, the maximum times a team may appear on primetime (TNF, SNF, MNF, or Saturday night) is six. So I think 2-3 SNF appearances is more likely.
-
I believe she also did Thursday at 4 with Liz and at 5 with Sade.

I'm kind of wondering with "The F.A.B. Life" (the lifestyle program coming to ABC O&Os this fall) premiering, where will it end up on WLS's schedule? While most of the other O&Os have the option of replacing Millionaire & Jeopardy's rerun (with Millionaire moving back to replace the second half of the expanded midday news in most markets), WLS's (and KTRK's) situation isn't that clear. The first two options below have been speculated in the media, but I also think the third would be an intriguing option: It could replace Windy City Live at 11am (causing WCL to be cancelled). It could replace Rachel Ray at 1pm (causing RR to move to a post-midnight time slot or another station) Put it at 3pm. Move Inside Edition to 11:30am, truncating WCL to a half hour at 11am. Jeopardy would move to 4:30pm (or 4pm), truncating the 4pm news to a half hour. I know the third option would anger a lot of people, as not only will news time be lost, but Inside Edition & Jeopardy would once again be changing timeslots. The View, The Chew, and General Hospital are all safe as they are network programs and WLS is a network O&O. Live with Kelly and Michael I would imagine is also safe as they went to all that trouble to take it from WGN and is also one of the higher rated syndicated shows. Has anyone heard anything lately?

Did not realize Chris went to 6, I thought he stopped at 5:30.
-
Is Vai officially off the morning (4-7AM) show? I was up early this morning and noticed in the 5:30am half hour it was Chris and Tracy anchoring, but Vai is anchoring the 11am (and seems like he has been for a while).

Which they shouldn't include anyway. But nonetheless, even if they did add the overnight broadcasts, ABC would have still come out on top: http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/abc-world-news-tonight-is-no-1-for-first-time-in-7-years/259965

My guess is a rotation between Bill & David, with a Sandra Bookman, Lori Stokes, and Joe Torres thrown in here and there. Interestingly, Liz Cho was in for Lori at noon today (I believe Michelle filled in during the morning).
-
I think it started later than scheduled. Didn't NCAA basketball run late causing the whole Sunday prime time lineup and news to start late?
-
Interesting ... I wonder who he's replacing, and if that person is just moving to another newscast or leaving altogether.

Anybody know what's going on at WJLA? Leon Harris and Alison Starling are anchors of the 4pm, 5pm, and 11pm news, while Maureen Bunyan anchors at 6pm, and Jonathan Elias on his way in to anchor one or more of the evening newscasts. But it seems like they are they testing pairings. I've seen Kimberly Suiters filling in for both Leon and Alison at 4pm (while Leon/Alison are NOT off as they appear on the 5pm), and the same deal with Scott Thuman and Autria Godfrey filling in on the 4pm. Meanwhile, I think their weekend evenings is still vacant since Kendis Gibson left for ABC.
-
More likely so that Lori & Ken could attend funeral today. Diana and Sandra, along with Amy on weather, are holding down the fort on the noon show.
-
David anchored GMA this morning and WNT this evening.
-
Since they went to a two-anchor format for Sunday evenings, when one anchor is off, I've seen fill-ins on all but one occasion. Shirleen has filled in for Sarah before as well.
-
I've seen him anchor on Saturday before. I would assume they are each other's main backups.
-
Interesting pairing tonight. Walter's off, and Brian Taff is filling in alongside Sarah. I believe Sarah anchored solo yesterday for Walter. I know I've said this before, but I still think they should utilize Sharie Williams on Fridays at noon and Saturday evenings (and give her Monday coupled with Sunday off).

You said, "Maybe CBS is pushing him out at Channel 6 ...". Maybe a bad choice of wording? No mention of radio in that post, and the way it was worded seemed as if you were saying CBS was his television employer. I understand what you were trying to say after you explained in a later post. Nonetheless, the article seems to be driven by WTVJ wanting to change direction, not by CBS (Radio) wanting their employees to choose one side or the other. Besides, if I were Adam, I would dump the radio bit and keep the lead TV NEWS anchor bit. Perhaps Adam and Jawan will split evenings? They already have Trina and Jackie, so they might pair them off.
-
I think you mean WCIX! *also sarcasm*
-
Same with above post. I think you're confused with affiliations.
-
Channel 6 = WTVJ = NBC Channel 4 = WFOR = CBS I think you got a little confused.

I saw Marion was on at 5pm too. Did they both anchor at 6pm and 10pm too? And if so, who did the 11am? I personally think that Stefan's got to be in the running for the 4:30pm (replacing Rob). If he gets it, I assume he continues on the 11am, and Anthony Ponce gets promoted to weekday mornings.
