  1. I thought Brianna's primary assignment has been 11am, not weekend mornings.
  2. It sounds to me like some holiday-themed production music, and nothing more.
  3. That area around Central Park is a hotbed of real estate development, with billions in leases/mortages on the table, as 60/70/80-story buildings are now lining the perimeter of the park. That whole block is toast,
  4. (News Series 2000)
  5. It appears that the temporary video wall has been reinstalled on the main ABC News set, positioned closer to the desk, in front of the usual installation. Last time, it was to switch out the monitor array with a seamless curved display. No idea what's up this time, though they've been making some updates to lighting and walls over the last several weeks.
  6. Hired as a reporter, then did weekend weather for about a year (between Jim Ramsey and Andy Avalos), though he was likely filling in, by this point. He'd be doing morning news updates sometime later that year. By the way, despite referring to Super Tuesday, that newscast is from Sunday, March 11th.
  7. I'm pretty sure that's the real deal. Looks way too good to be a knockoff.
  8. They have absolutely nothing to do with one another, so this closure has no bearing. I'm sure they're still looking at their options with WGN America, which only has any chicago connection in name, alone.
  9. And I fixed it. No one's crazy or a broken record.
  10. The KABC package also has a 2-line lower third option.
  11. All 3 Chicago stations are doing it, that's all I know.
  12. ...And ABC. I believe 'Nightly News' was first to do this.
  13. Hosea Sanders is filling in at the desk at 4 today for the first time since the WCIU broadcast was canceled. I was beginning to think that they phased him out of anchoring for good, though this could be a last resort type thing, as holiday schedules get wacky. Either way, nice to see him back in the role, especially with Judy.
  14. Dean Richards recently got roughed up in a fall downtown, so veteran anchor Steve Sanders will appear as host of this Friday night's holiday presentation of 'Family Classics,' becoming only the 4th person to introduce the once-weekly film presentation. He should do a fabulous job. https://www.robertfeder.com/2019/12/12/robservations-steve-sanders-saves-day-wgns-family-classics/
  15. According to other reports, yes, he'll also assume those roles.
  16. Interesting choice, but he is pretty versatile, so he'll be fine.
  17. It required too much effort, on my end, which seemed appropriate.
  18. Like a major news story, I thought this deserved a SPECIAL GRAPHIC, but in light of recent debuts, this is all we're gonna get...
  19. O...kay? So? Sounds to me like Ushery is working late, and Price is off. Not sure what's so special about any of this.
  20. Studio just got upgrades to hold them til the network relocates, and new graphics might be coming.
  21. Kate Chappell was a lead anchor in Milwaukee, and was the maternity fill-in for Katie on weekends. I'll bet she gets it, and not too far in the future.
  22. WFLD has a few anchor/reporter job listings on their website, and a familiar face might be one of the candidates.
  23. Here's the open.
  24. Most of what you listed is national programming, and will be seen everywhere. That was specifically discouraged in the initial post of this thread. Consider this an example of what not to post here, and a warning for all.
  25. Oh my God.
