I totally understand that Sony is trying to distance itself from Mike but to wipe out Alex's first 75 episodes of S37 just because Richards was there is absolutely inexcusable on the part of Sony.

    I agree.

In Denver- KDVR was announced last month as the station for "You Bet your Life with Jay Leno" but instead KCDO has picked it up.  It will air at 7PM & 7:30PM, it will then Re-Air at 12:36AM on KMGH.

I’ve never heard tell of a station to back out of a show at the last minute like that.

For the first known time, Daytime Jeopardy! is going to feature episodes from the current season instead of only the previous one. The first two weeks will be Mayim Bialik's two weeks as host from last season, then it jumps ahead to her episodes from this coming season, meaning Daytime Jeopardy! will only be one week behind first-run Jeopardy! instead of a year behind. If this keeps up, I could see affiliates viewing this as pointless and dropping it, especially the ones that double-run J!. People might get confused when Mayim is hosting both episodes, especially if the current champion is on a 6+ day streak, so that one episode would be Day X but the other would be Day (X - 5). J! Weekend will also be showing Mayim's episodes from last season to start off.

Yeah, even though WCNC hasn’t aired it in years so it’s irrelevant to Charlotte, this is a slap in the face to Alex. They should be airing Trebek episodes. I guess they are trying to distance themselves from Mike Richards.

Starting 9/13, WLNY's airings of Judge Judy will uniquely be the C and D runs, rather than repeats of the A and B runs that air earlier in the day on WCBS, meaning NYC will now get four unique episodes per weekday instead of two.

For the "Judy Library" encores, the A and B runs will start with Season 21 (2016-17) in order (A: 2101, B: 2102, etc.), and the C and D runs will do the same with Season 18 (2013-14).

Looked on zap2it and WCNC is the same except they only air three runs so they skip the D run. A and B run is at 3 and 3:30pm. They will only be airing the odd numbered episodes of Season 18 (the C run) weekdays at 12:30pm).

Go look it up on FOX46 website. It's listed on TitanTV via the FOX46 website. I never look up their or any Fox affiliates' schedule through Zap2it

Titan TV and zap2it sometimes differ. We’ll see.

  6. I am hearing another delay…the set was going to debut this week but apparently they are having cold feet on what the news branding was going to be. They decided to abandon that. They are going with the Nexstar Fox graphics but might not be de-Foxifying their branding after all. This coming from a new employee.

  7. Rachel Coulter joins WBTV from WLBT. Right now she will be on in the mornings. Al Conklin says she is helping out. They will apparently roll with two meteorologists in the mornings but I’m thinking Al becomes Chief Meteorologist when Eric Thomas retires and Rachel takes over permanently in the mornings. They don’t need two meteorologists in the morning. They seem to have hired a good one.

10:00 PM - The Goldbergs x2 (formerly Seinfeld x2) [10:00 preempted in some markets by sister station newscast]

Hopefully these stations will air the primary run at 10:30 if they only air one run during the week and will still air two runs on the weekend because both of the weekend episodes are the primary run from during the week (usually the first episode that affiliates air). Otherwise the episode schedule will be way out of whack. WLFL is one station that only airs the primary run.

I checked and WWAY DT3  (a CW+ station) is airing the primary run weekdays at 1:30am.

  9. Another tweak to WAXN’s weekday schedule starting the 20th. Law and Order: SVU (and yes it also airs on Monday nights on WMYT as part of MyNet) replaces The First 48 at 2am but as I mentioned earlier The First 48 will air on weekends.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t Law and Order: SVU just leave daily strip syndication a few years ago? WMYT was airing it but dropped it.

Gaffney (and Cherokee County SC) are part of the Charlotte market, correct?  (no longer the case....were they ever?)

I don’t think they have ever been in the Charlotte market but I could be wrong.

As far as I can tell, Live with Kelly and Ryan will no longer be seen in Memphis after WMC drops it

Seems like WATN could replace 25 Words or Less with it at 9am and put that on WLMT but what do I know.

  12. WCCB weekend changes starting September 18 according to zap2it:

Friends had previously been on from 3-6pm on Saturdays. Now starting the 18th it is only on from 3-4. Mom is now on from 4-5 and Blackish is on from 5-6pm. Don’t know if that is permanent.

    S.W.A.T. replaces Mom from 7-8pm.

Back to back episodes of MacGyver replace Friends from 11pm-1am (saw the second episode when searching for upcoming episodes).

Friends will air overnight that Saturday night the 18th/Sunday morning the 19th from 1am-3am (that might be temporary) and it will still air from 3pm-6pm on Sunday the 19th as usual (searched for the program).

And since this thread is about their SET, any word on how that's coming along?  It seems there is a lot of things going on here.  Their GM slot is even open, so there could be lots of other changes on the horizon....

To be fair this is a set and studios sub forum and generally when stations get a new set, don’t they change graphics and logos too?

But seeing as that Good Day Charlotte expands to 6 hours Tuesday, it might make its debut then. I haven’t heard. But maybe not at 4am. We’ll see.

  14. Jason Harper confirms that Good Day Charlotte expands to 4am to 10am starting Tuesday. Rachael Ray moves to 10am and 25 Words or Less moves to 11am and 11:30, but only 11:30 for three days. You Bet Your Life’s preview show airs Friday at 11:30 and the regular show airs starting the 13th in that time slot, with the secondary run at 12:30am. 25 Words Or Less secondary run moves to 1am starting Monday night the 13th/Tuesday morning the 14th.

Also it appears Access Hollywood is being dropped and not sure any other Charlotte station is picking it up. It was listed on WMYT at 1:30am on zap2it, but then changed to an informercial.

Does anyone know if The First 48 will be back in syndication this fall? It's disappeared from a couple of schedules.

Also, will Couples, Personal Injury and Protection Court(s) still be distributed, even though there are no new episodes? (I did see that Paternity Court is still circulating, at least on WBNX in Cleveland.)

All are still airing in Charlotte as far as I know  except for Protection Court. WMYT is replacing that with an extra run of Divorce Court. WAXN’s only change is Storage Wars in place of Impractical Jokers at 5:30am.

Looks like WJZY is getting a double run (of YS) at 7 and 7:30. Judging from the earlier promo I thought they would keep their BBT run at 7:30.

Now I’m not so sure. WJZY has recently run another “BBT at 7:30” promo. So maybe 7 on WJZY and 7:30 on WMYT? But that would mean YS and BBT would be going head to head between the stations. That should not be allowed. Especially between two duopoly stations.
