Thank you captain obvious

So what's gonna happen to Erika Von what's her face? Pushed out? Moving to weekends? Evenings?

http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/1/25/changing-jobs Jose Diaz-Balart has been named co-anchor of the Saturday versions of NN.

Kristine Johnson renews her agreement with WCBS as co-anchor of CBS2 news at 5 & 11 pm and also adds network anchor/correspondent to her duties as well. This probably explains why Kristine has been seen at network anchoring lately.
-
Don't think WCBS would want 2 females anchoring mornings and besides would Cindy even want to anchor mornings again after anchoring mornings for several years?
-
Forgot to mention perhaps NBC offered Steve a better contract and pay then KYW did so perhaps that's why he took the job. And not every reporter is gonna stay in the same market for years.
-
Did anyone ever stop and think not everyone aspires to be a news anchor nor do they want to be tied down to a desk 5 days a week. A lot of reporters enjoy going out into the field and reporting getting away from the building etc.
-
If Jason & Michelle anchor the noon show now more then likely they will continue to anchor it.
-
Speaking of WESH: Brett Connolly moves from 5 & 10 pm to 7-9am on WKCF. Jim Payne moves off the 4 pm to the first half hour of the 5 (remains at 6 & 11 pm) Stewart Moore moves from mornings to the 2nd half hour of the 5 pm and the expanded 10 pm on WKCF. Summer Knowles moves from weekend evenings to 4 pm and Jazmin Walker moves from weekend mornings to weekday mornings 7-9a WKCF unsure if Connolly/Walker will participate in the early morning news cast on WESH. Meredith McDonough & Angela Taylor remain in their respective time slots.
-
If the 4 pm newscast actually does happen I see Chuck & Sibila anchoring at 4, 6 & 11 that's 95 minutes of air time. Besides don't think they want to move Chuck & Sibila off the 6 pm. Shiba and David more then likely would get the entire 5 pm hour.

Sheneille Jones & Harry Smith are anchoring today's broadcast Kristen Welker providing news updates and -WNBCs Raphael Miranda doing the weather.
-
And lets not assume that working in the number 1 market is more important then family. If Josh does end up in LA I can see Liz moving there too but not right away. There have been several people who have worked in some of the top markets but moved to smaller markets for family and LA is market 2 so not that big of a difference.

Kala Rama & Craig Treadway named new weekend co-anchors: http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/wpix-announces-new-weekend-anchor-team/160794

What makes you think they won't demote Tamsen? They've already demoted Kaity in the past and played Anchor roulette with Dan Mannarino no reason they won't do the same with Tamsen.

Ginger Zee had her baby boy yesterday morning: https://gma.yahoo.com/abc-news-chief-meteorologist-ginger-zee-welcomes-son-224924404--abc-news-topstories.html

What I would like to see : Kaity & John at 5 & 10 Kaity & Brenda at 6 Tamsen demoted to weekends

Why was it a fluke that he was hired as a reporter at WNBC? What's the criteria for someone that works at a station in NYC? Does someone need to be 40+ years old? Do they need to have 20+ years experience in small no ones ever heard of towns?

Reporter Sheldon Dutes leaving WNBC to join WISN in Milwaukee as weekend evening co-anchor: http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/milwaukee-station-adds-2-anchors/159634

She posted on her fb page that she would be anchoring Early Today and First Look all week.

Sad news out of Seattle and especially at KIRO-TV. Chris Legeros long time reporter for the station passed away today after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind a wife Julie and 2 daughters Elena & Anna. Sending thoughts and prayers to his friends and colleagues at KIRO and to his family. http://www.kirotv.com/news/news/legeros/nmg89/

And that's exactly what Shirleen was hired as Anchor/Reporter noon anchor & reporter for the 4, 5 & 6pm newscasts.
-
I wouldn't read too much into it. Mornings are covered with Lori & Ken, Noon is covered with Shirleen & David, 4 is covered with Liz & David, 5 is covered with Sade & Diana, 6 is covered with Liz & Bill, 11 is covered with Sade & Bill. Weekend mornings are covered with Michelle & Rob, weekend evenings are covered with Sandra & Joe. More then likely WABC hasn't removed the job posting after hiring Shirleen as anchor/reporter (anchor noon, report 4, 5 & 6).
-
Kristen will continue to anchor at 11am in addition to 5pm. I can see either Natasha or Reggie co-anchoring with Kristen at 11am. No clue what will happen with Alan. Oh and minor correction Carolyn joined KNBC not WNBC.
-
To expand further on the above post: Kristen Sze replaces Cheryl Jennings at 5 pm; Eric Thomas will solo anchor weekend nights. Natasha Zouves and Reggie Aqui will be the New morning anchors. http://richliebermanreport.blogspot.com/2015/10/415-media-exclu-anchor-shuffle-at-kgo.html?m=1
