Kristen will continue to anchor at 11am in addition to 5pm. I can see either Natasha or Reggie co-anchoring with Kristen at 11am. No clue what will happen with Alan. Oh and minor correction Carolyn joined KNBC not WNBC.

Seniority has nothing to weather someone gets a main anchor spot or not. Lots of stations bring in talent from elsewhere to be main anchors while overlooking people who have been with said station for years longer. A couple of examples in Seattle NBC station KING hired Amanda Grace to co-anchor the 4 & 9 pm newscasts instead of promoting within. WNBC in NYC hired Sibila Vargas to be main anchor rather then keeping Shiba Russell or promoting Pat Battle to that spot.

Rob was basically anchoring entertainment style stuff while at ET and when he was at CNN he anchored the news from time to time so ABC having him anchor when needed is nothing he can't handle.

Nick Allard who was the morning meteorologist at Portland, OR NBC affiliate KGW is moving back up to Seattle to join Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO as their morning meteorologist. Allard previously worked in Seattle for NBC affiliate KING and sister station NWCN. Cynthia was basically a stop gap measure between the.departure of Shannon Hori and the arrival of Irika Sargent. Demos anchored mornings then moved to 5:30 and 10:00pm after Erika Von Tiehl left for KYW. When the 6:00pm show became a solo anchor show and the 5:00pm anchors did the whole hour and the 10:00pm show was cancelled then demos was moved to weekends.

Talk about a fast promotion. Rudaneh Shabazi who replaced Rhiannon Ally as morning co-anchor at Miami CBS owned WFOR in August is being promoted to weeknight 5 & 11 pm co-anchor replacing Irika Sargent who left for Chicago CBS owned station WBBM. Not sure if this has already been posted yet. But Rhiannon Ally and Crista Dubill have swapped 6 & 10pm. Rhiannon is now doing the 10pm and Crista is now doing the 6pm. So new evening schedule is Crista & Justin at 4, Rhiannon & Mike at 5, Crista & Mike at 6, Rhiannon & Mike at 10.

Throwing this out there but could Cindys absence be medical related?

No she did her normal shift tonight. When New York Live host Sara Gore had her baby Janice would fill in from time to time and then go do her normal weather duties. The noon show doesn't have a set meteorologist rather it's usually between Chris, Rafael & Steve.
