  1. Out of curiosity do we know why it's taking so long for WTHR and WBNS to be "Tegna-fied"?? I know when they acquired KFMB it didn't take 4 months... I'm not expecting the newly acquired properties to get it for some time....
  2. Speaking of WDBJ I wish more Gray stations would pick up their graphics package, especially their weather graphics... I think the Raycom stations would've looked better with that packaage
  3. Here Mayor -- stand here and look silly cutting some ribbon in front of our green screen and pretend to be interested in our fancy digs... I would've felt like a complete ass doing that...
  4. Yes, I just can't remember which slots... but it's between KNXV and KSAZ Fox 10
  5. Which is funny since the host, Kevin O'Connell just retired from TEGNA owned WGRZ not that long ago...
  6. Scott Jones does... He's been in the biz a long time and has his reliable sources...
  7. I'm digging it... So much better than the current package
  8. At least we have a filled in banner at the top instead of the see thru gobbeldy guck they have now
  9. For having enough money to throw around scooping up stations, you'd think they'd spend a decent amount on a decent graphics package.... this is such a downgrade from a decent package that they had through Raycom....
  10. Ugh.... Kill the Arial/Helvetica already....
  11. https://wwmt.com/station/people WWMT has 27 (2 National Sinclair, 1 Michigan Sinclair reporter) which is rather large for the Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo/Battle Creek market -- especially since this station is very heavily focused on the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek portion.
  12. Kari Lake is a pathetic example of journalism. I refuse to watch Fox 10 here in Phoenix until she's GONE. I've had the unpleasant task of helping her at a local health food store. She was rude, pushy, and thought she owned the place. The temptation to smack her was oh so great.
  13. Sigh... get a different font and then we'll talk....
  14. KOAA also has the Scripps layout Don't hold breath on graphics anytime soon
  15. KFDA I noticed has new graphics. They aren't quite like WOIO... During the weather segment, the only thing really left over from Raycom are the circles used to display the temps on the maps... https://www.newschannel10.com/weather/ https://www.newschannel10.com/2019/06/22/traffic-alert-ih-interchange-traffic-down-one-lane-due-accident/
  16. Add WOOD and WLNS to the list of updated sites
  17. I'm assuming so... KXXV and WTXL did so after they were acquired... makes sense to do so as well
  18. All the websites are still in Cordillera layout but now have the Scripps logo at the bottom... Will only be a matter of time before they switch over as well
  19. I'm surprised ABC and NBC allow that -- one would think that either/both networks would have a fit with them merged like that...
  20. I'm wondering if it's something like the WMUR/WCVB situation that Hearst has in the Boston market....
  21. I'm still baffled as to why the weather graphics changed to Scripps but the Journal package stayed... So tacky....
  22. Is Nexstar rolling out a different format website layout?? Check out KXAN's site -- totally different than other sites... I rather like it myself...
  23. The fourth girl in the front is covering it with her hand... it's just the big 8 with woodtv.com in white on the corners... Very similar to sister station WLNS.. theirs is a big 6 with wlns.com in white in the corners
