It's a great management tool to knock your assumed "Golden Boy" (Muir) down a few notches...just as a reminder as to "who" is in charge. ABC could have said "Just sit this one out Dave...we have it covered..." To which Davids Agent reacts.... "Holy Sh$T"... Good way to make the talent and his agent much less important at contract re-negotiation time. Might even save a few million off the top.

Ewwww A legacy ABC game show leading INTO CBS network game shows??? The Game Show Purist League ( The GSPL) will poop out Plinko disc (or chips...or rounds...whatever the hell those plinko things are) and send the yodeling man off his cliff... to a sudden death. Are you people mad?

I hope it goes to trial because I would love to hear why Gray thinks they were somehow damaged because of these very naughty boys. I hope Gray realizes this was a "teachable moment" for it's show producers. They should all be required to watch these guys over and over again...until they learn. Chop and Steele pulled this on many other stations, with most falling for the ruse. These Bozo's never really expected to get on TV, they expected to be shut down from the get-go. But I must say... It's some of the dumbest, yet funniest stuff I have ever seen. Bravo Chop and Steele...bravo.

Wow, KRCR under Sinclair... That should be real interesting for all those of the KRCR fandom. You can't just watch KRCR to get the feel of the market / community... You have to go there and experience the area. It's a different place far from the California most know of.

Factoid: Gil was a (the) graphic artist at KGTV in the late 1970's. The first KGTV "The News" set had a false ceiling that was actually a facade ceiling attached to a wooden frame...that the camera shot thru during the show close. The "ceiling" or fake facade covered the studio lights.

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion
Eat News replied to ABC 7 Denver's topic in Corporate Chat
I showed this article to KBEX (Chopper-X) Pilot Olaf Joystick who called the R-66... "A drone with seat belts and cup holders"... Olaf knows his stuff, because he flew in the 6 hour war between Finland and Norway in 1985. The only thing keeping KFMB from adopting an R-44 or R-66 is the fact they would get smoked in the first pursuit involving some teenager and his "Boy Racer" modified and nitro Honda Civic. How embarrassing.- 3684 replies

8 stations in San Diego share a chopper... KSWB CW-6 KNSD KFMB KGTV KPBS KBNT T-20 Over 4,200 square miles... But we have a Jet Ranger III so over loaded that it can only take 1/2 bag of fuel and fly for under 2 hours below 1500ft asl... So we are officially still more lame than your soon to be R-66 that can be out-run by a moped. So there.- 3684 replies

I have seen a few sued also with varied success such as a default judgement when the reporter ignored the summons. Another time a station fired the guy...but told the courts and state employment dept that he quit. Station was fined by the state for being lying idiots. These "contracts" are not written with the talent in mind, and at this level your agent is not doing you any favors beyond collecting 10% of your pay. The kids will sign anything to get hired no matter how lopsided it is. It's also not real good business to sue your employees too often. Antics like that DO blow back into the employers face, and cost more than $10,000 in ill will, and very nasty PR in the business trades.

Well they kept that secret from the GM and ND for 5 days... I'm sure there is a perfectly logical explanation. I bet an intern is involved somewhere...somehow. Now what would be really funny is if they found it with the windows down, and unlocked.... Even funnier.... Mast still up. Ouch. Ok...... still funnier..... 300 feet of coax still on the ground.

2016 population was 134,410 and 5.5% Hispanic.

The set has Patina and a colorful history... It's like a fine wine...it gets better with age??? No? It's probably a hazmat issue because that set sits on top of the old set, which was a toxic waste (non- permitted mob operated) dump site years ago.

No fluffy??? Why no fluffy? Sometimes fluffy is the best part of women. No Fluffy is like Rachel Maddow Anti-Fluff. Fluffless....or a negative kerfluffel. How about you give us a 'lil fluff...just a little.

Robin Meade is pulling a 5 hour shift? Is she still beating CNN in the 7-9a slot?

I would just sit back and wait. Let Sinclair test waters...and spend their money. The real race is going to be between those groups that can wait it out . Sinclair has a 50/50 shot.

Keep in mind that it's summer and warm weather can contribute to anchor cross contamination. Just like a summer picnic. Remember to always wash your hands before preparing a fresh newscast with different anchors. Keep your news utensils clean also...many fine news people are poisoned each year because of dirty, fecal contaminated pens, or even dirty mics. Always use gloves when handling any kinds of sports. Always sneeze away from crew and interns, we can't afford to have them out sick because they have actual skills we need to produce the show. Keep breaking news at or below 40 degrees to ensure freshness and safety. Always use a condom...just because they're fun.

Those spots have pretty good production values...and they are med related. What does that tell us... my "TV Sales 101" students???

The price they paid is about the same as a starter house in Ca. Plus in St. George you can run the whole station off solar if you wanted to. The locals will welcome you. The business climate is welcoming and the people are nice...even though they tend to have many many wives. But once you peal thru the maiden frocks ..they seem to clean-up quite nicely.

This area is completely under served, and gets no love from Las Vegas or SLC. Hope they can make something happen.

I bet the sales manager will have a giant shit-fit when he/she learns they get not one penny from any ad revenue from facebook. Suckers.

very nice.... Compared to the KSBW-8 studios at 236 John St., Salinas, Ca. Note the use of imported corrugated steel...and why bother with expensive windows that would only allow killer sunlight to invade the building.... https://www.bing.com/maps?&ty=18&q=236 John St, Salinas, CA 93901&ppois=36.669641610974_-121.64865369249_236 John St, Salinas, CA 93901_~&cp=36.669642~-121.648654&v=2&sV=1&FORM=MIRE&qpvt=236+john+st,+salinas
