Those guys had fun doing it. It wasn't hokey...it was "flash"... Most of all...it was a good honest newscast.

What a hoot! In the open we see Spencer "Adjusting" his mic...shuffles papers...and looks to the anchor to acknowledge that he is ready... 3,2,1 Launch!!! One little thing.. Ya see Spencer had been sitting down for the last 5 minutes or more...primping...getting pretty...so there was no rush. His scripts were already in the prompter... And that mic??? Well an "honest to God NABET union audio dude" had that mic affixed to Spencer minutes ago...the mic check was done, and there is no need to "adjust" that mic. In fact Spencer isn't really even supposed to touch that mic unless unless it burst into flames and eats him. Those are the union rules. Those late 60's early 1970's EWN opens were great..totally scripted opens. For a while the anchors used to make it look like they were just so hurried that they could barely make it to the set in time for the open, but that became risky as the talent was already hardwired to the set with dual lav mics and some primitive IFB's So they could only "run" so far.
So does WPVI occasionally do the whole weather balloon thing? Or was it more a promotional gimmick for "there goes that action news van" advertisement to say they went to space? I'm sure @Eat News will report that KBEX has one where if Dan Dan the Relapse Man is wet it's raining or pissed himself; if he's sweating profusely he's going through withdrawal or there's a heat wave; if he's swaying there's a strong gust of wind, he's still withdrawaling or on meth; if he's shivering it's cold or still going through withdrawal (it's a bitch); and if he's blue he overdosed.
Dan Dan... Is MOVing closer to your world...RKO. "Move".... Get it? He can't find his lampshade...but he had his shot of Jagger. (Yes...it's a vintage original 1970's PVI mic flag)

It's opinion pieces on both sides. Both side are preaching doom and gloom. and..... Both are in the business to entertain and/or scare you....all for a profit. So enjoy! -
I love the stage manager "credit" she gave.

My Grandpa lived in a double wide for a few years. He would get pissed if we called it a "trailer". He would always say... "It's a coach"! Then he would hit us and say... "Go play on the 405...the 405 FREEWAY!" -
It was named that in honor of famed LGBT crusader and activist Anita Bryant. She liked orange juice.

I really think Boris needs to consider changing his name. Only a suggestion. -
The owner(Wealth-TV ) has pissed off and sued so many cable operators that nobody will carry them. I have been inside the operation, and have a few insiders there. It's a LOW budget operation. It's "bring your own paper clips" low budget. They wouldn't want to even spring for Greta's monthly parking on the hill. My local 7-11 has more employees...and pays much better.

I bet we see a lot more of these "failed waivers" in various forms. It's a "slippery transmitter tower ladder" (slope) that is just ripe for abuse. Something tells me there will be many stations "about to fail" in the very near future.

He would be happy to accept more...but the taxes on a million bucks is a bitch. -
Too bad that anchor was executed for missing his hard break... Waa Waa!

The alligator would be the one to have the final say on taste... (Oh please...it's a bad carnivore joke...you set me up.)

I'm asking myself if I would find her credible presenting the subject somehow. Is that something one just 'dabbles" in? Gotta admit I would watch, but could I give her a fair shake if she was defending or supporting? I don't know either.

"Knock Knock..." "Who's there?" "Leah Remini and the folks from A&E...with a suitcase full of cash..." To be continued... hopefully.

Ok... My Arco AM-PM had MSNBC...now it's CNN as of just recently. I used to see the 3rd string MSNBC anchor for a 15 second news update...then a Tonight Show clip...a promo...some thing for talkstoop...and then repeat the whole thing every 1-/12 minutes. It was somewhat tolerable. Now I'm stared down by Wolfie Blitzer for the 3-4 minutes it takes to fill a 23 gallon tank, and sometimes the volume is set real LOUD! Updated 7-5-17 The whole operation is run by GSTV....Gas Station TV. They also run a quick ESPN SC update...and a HLN Morning Express hit during the weekdays. All in the time it takes to fill the average 15 gallon tank.
