  1. As a result of the new 9am newscast being anchored by the regular morning team, Ed Curran and Robb Ellis are the new 11am team.
  2. NBC News Daily will air live for four hours every day, one hour for each time zone (minus Alaska and Hawaii). So, KPRC must be taking the Pacific time hour of the newscast with Kate Snow and Aaron Gilchrist.
  3. Appears it’s taking over Nightly’s old space.
  4. Tom Hanson.
  5. Cuomo starts October 3rd.
  6. When the relaunch was first announced, the 7pm hour was going to be anchored by a rotation of different correspondents and established anchors. Dickerson was among those.
  7. I get your point.
  8. WFOR has also been dropping hints for a few months now throughout their newscasts that they’re preparing to rebrand to CBS News Miami, if this is any indication. IMG_0661.MOV
  9. It’s gonna become The 4 on CBS News Minnesota soon enough.
  10. Marni Hughes gets the 10am ET hour.
  11. Zerlina Maxwell is leaving.
  12. Mainly using the 2016 graphics.
  13. Well, that was a dud. I'm so sorry, guys. At least we have KCNC to look forward to next Monday.
  14. No. WCCO will debut today, then KCNC next Monday. Every O&O is not launching at the same time.
  15. KSTW is still on the CBS Local site, as well.
  16. All of them have. Miami was the last to launch in January.
  17. Well, it’s officially official.
  18. And here’s the whole damn thing.
  19. WWJ now has Next Weather.
  20. They've made clear that the temporary 4pm show they have now is not a newscast. It's an hour-long show devoted to the State Fair and nothing else. The actual newscast launches Monday, Sept. 5. You can see in this full promo the use of TT Norms and glimpses of the prospective new graphics on their set's video walls that look nothing like the outgoing package. Also, notice how there is a lack of channel number in the title of the show. Also, if you look here, you’ll see that WCCO has no newscasts scheduled at their State Fair studios for it’s last day on Sept. 5.
  21. Likely WCCO. They’re debuting a new 4pm newscast on Monday and it looks like it’s using the prospective new graphics.
  22. Looks like we have our smoking gun, folks. KCNC is rebranding as “CBS Colorado News”.
  23. Here’s what’s happening in DFW: KDFW: Sherri at 11am, and Jennifer Hudson at 1pm. KXAS: Their post-Ellen life looks like this: Dateline at 1pm, Access Daily moves to 2pm. Kelly Clarkson remains at 3pm. WFAA: No change. KTVT: Among the O&Os who are doing the news-Drew Barrymore 9am hour. Let’s Make A Deal moves to 2pm. KTXA: The Balancing Act moves from 4am to a more reasonable timeslot at 7:30am, replacing Supreme Justice, which moves to 11:30am. Funny You Should Ask and America’s Court move up an hour to 10am and 11am, respectively. Justice moves to noon from 12:30pm. Justice for All is at 12:30pm. A block of The Neighborhood airs from 10:30-11:30pm and a block of American Housewife follows from 11:30pm-12:30am. Comics Unleashed replaces Right This Minute at 1:30am. They’re airing the second half of Drew Barrymore at 3:30am (yikes!). Another run of America’s Court at 4:30am. KDFI: Lots of changes here. Dateline is replaced with Chicago Fire at 8am and back-to-back Family Feud in the 3pm hour. At noon, The Real is replaced with back-to-back Divorce Court. Pictionary airs at 2pm. 25 Words or Less moves up a half-hour to 5pm from 5:30pm. Modern Family moves to 5:30 from 7pm. 7pm is a repeat of KDFW’s 5pm and 5:30 news, and 8pm is a repeat of their 6pm news. A block of Law & Order: SVU airs from 10pm-midnight. Repeats of Nick Cannon are still airing at midnight for some reason. KDAF: We the People with Gloria Allred replaces Daily Mail TV at 11:30am. Karamo airs at noon (no word yet on where Tamron’s going).
  24. There was a time several years ago when NBC O&Os branded themselves as “NBC” during non-news and non-network hours.
