The Seahawks broadcast was such a technical disaster last night, NFL Network switched to the Vikings feed.

Patriots: no change from last year.

New court show: Cutlers Court, with husband-and-wife duo Dana and Keith Cutler of Couples Court fame. Sold in 80% of the country.

Effectively succeeding KRON’s 8 and 9pm newscasts, when they sign on with The CW.

Interesting there’s no 10pm. I guess CBS is going to continue with Now News after all?

Longtime KDFW traffic reporter Chip Waggoner is going off the air for the rest of the year because he was employed by a traffic agency and has decided to leave that company to join Fox full-time.

He’ll return in early 2024, when he is an official Fox employee.

Interesting how they haven’t claimed texas21.com yet.

Their new afternoon schedule is: 

2pm - Drew Barrymore (both halves, since that show is keeping the half-hour format)

3pm - LMAD

4pm - News

WBBM is moving Drew Barrymore back to 2pm this fall. (h/t @24994J)

If anything, they’d be bound for Gray. WINK-WXCW is already being run like a Gray shop.

Appears Gray is now paying royalties to CBS for Next Weather.

Minor change to NBC’s scorebug. The play clock is now within the time/quarter circle, rather than popping out from the bottom of the circle.

They should let Brooks and Lana anchor together, they both have that energetic morning personality.

Both of them actually anchored the Peachtree 7-9am newscast until the new arrangement started.

Nickelodeon will produce an alternate broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII.

I do like the 7-9 am portion of Atlanta News First. It feels a little lighter in tone than those first 2 hours of Good Day ATL. What is the exact anchor arrangement? I thought it was Brooks and Lana anchor together but last week I saw Brooks & Gurvir together then Lana and another gentleman at 8a.

 

 

Ever since Rob Hughes left for WLS, it’s been Lana solo at 4:30am, Don Shipman and Lana at 5am & 8am, and Brooks & Gurvir from 6-8am and 9am.

As I predicted, The CW is moving to KQCA in Sacramento.

She actually filled in a few months ago.

ESPN's new NBA A-team: Mike Breen, Doris Burke and Doc Rivers.

Ex-FCC commish Ervin Duggan and Bill Kristol are now involved.

Looks like they’re trying to align themselves with Nightly.

According to this piece, Gray is syndicating InvestigateTV+ to all of its stations. It will also be offered to stations in non-Gray markets as well.
