  1. Can PAX ever come back as a subchannel network? (Wishful thinking on my part)
  2. That's bad news for all of the users who love Fox 8 in Cleveland. Apparently, Nexstar thinks that NewsNation and The CW are bigger priorities than digital.
  3. This could be another opportunity for a rebranding of the network, which has undergone a lot of changes since it was originally PAX (after it was supposed to be PaxNet).
  4. I think they made a mistake keeping the 10pm hour. A lot of network programming is crap and whatever is sort of the weakest can move to cable and Peacock.
  5. TJ needs to go as he's becoming a bigger distraction with all the crap that's come out involving him.
  6. What would make sense is to simply move HLN over to ID and not have to change channel positions. Both channels with similar makes one necessary and the other redundant.
  7. https://amp.tmz.com/2022/12/05/gma-amy-robach-tj-holmes-taken-off-air-relationship/ Could all of the drama coming out with TJ lead to sexual harassment accusations?
  8. They couldn't wait to get rid of Morning Express. They should have replayed the last hour at 8am.
  9. Discovery Life and Family used to be Hub and was a lot better with sitcoms after the Hasbro shows. It was a good attempt to compete with Nickelodeon.
  10. I have a feeling HLN will merge with Investigation Discovery in the near future. Both channels are now identical with similar programming. Doesn't make sense to keep both of them going. How many cable networks does WBD have now?
  11. Kind of ironic that Stelter wrote this after he was let go from CNN.
  12. WEWS is celebrating 75 years on the air in Cleveland this month. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/wews-celebrates-75-years-as-a-trailblazing-station
  13. They were in such a rush to get rid of CNN+, but don't seem to mind the zombie channels. WBD is becoming a bigger joke every day.
  14. Martin Savidge and Robin Meade both should have stayed. CNN/HLN is foolish for letting them go. Meanwhile, some of those who have made CNN a laughing stock are sticking around. That doesn't bode well. "This Morning" simulcast is a mistake.
  15. Andy Cohen promises drinking on CNN's New Year's Eve program. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/andy-cohen-cnn-new-years-eve-real-housewives-jen-shah-kathy-hilton-1235263640/
  16. Changes could be coming to CNN's New Year's Eve coverage. https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/cnn-new-years-eve-coverage-sober-anderson-cooper-1235434694/
  17. Apparently, reports had the new network chief hoping that Tapper was going to be the new face of primetime. That didn't look like it was going to happen.
  18. Of course they would deny it. That's not surprising.
  19. Things are not going well between NewsNation and Chris Cuomo. https://nypost.com/2022/10/30/chris-cuomo-demands-new-time-slot-at-newsnation-as-ratings-tank/
  20. He had every right to question the network over that Trump. Yet, it's the same network that refused to cover an event right in Chicago and the death of Queen Elizabeth. NewsNation is a joke!
  21. I thought NewsNation was rumored to be hiring Megyn already? That would be awkward to have both her and Cuomo on the show after she blasted one of his segments on the opening night of his show.
  22. That is pathetic! Both the ratings and segment with those aborted calls.
  23. When even Newsmax is getting more ratings, that says something.
  24. The fact that now I have heard about NewsNation (actually) preempting regular programming for Hurricane coverage shows how little the channel has been impacting viewership. I wonder how the ratings were for that day.
  25. It appears that NN is about to lean more right. If that is the case, then they should not promote themselves as "unbiased." They had dropped the ball a lot when it came to breaking news coverage (even Newsmax and Fox News covered Queen Elizabeth's death), but only choosing what to cover and what not to makes them a joke. (BTW, they probably get more ratings with Blue Bloods reruns than any of the newscasts)
