  1. It appears that a lot of sitcoms don't seem to either last long or even enter over-the-air anymore. Many have shifted to cable, streaming and even classic over-the-air channels. Same with movies and the quality of those that are airing at the moment.
  2. Has anyone checked out Karamo yet? I appears to have less drama than Maury from what I have seen in previews. What happened with Teen Court? Could they try again next year?
  3. WBNX in Cleveland is carrying Ring Nation (Saturdays at Noon and 12:30pm)
  4. It appears that NN is about to lean more right. If that is the case, then they should not promote themselves as "unbiased." They had dropped the ball a lot when it came to breaking news coverage (even Newsmax and Fox News covered Queen Elizabeth's death), but only choosing what to cover and what not to makes them a joke. (BTW, they probably get more ratings with Blue Bloods reruns than any of the newscasts)
  5. WOIO in Cleveland picked up Wheel and Jeopardy! in 2012 after WEWS dropped it for Scripps in-house programming (now just one show - The List).
  6. NewsNation ran the entire speech from former President Trump at a rally in Ohio this past weekend. This is the same network that didn't cover a lot of breaking news events.
  7. That would be a shock to have all of those channels under one roof.
  8. I tried watching some of the 4pm news yesterday and it was mostly fluff. A piece on a pickle fest and some bit involving ice cream. I couldn't get into it. Yet, the 11pm news seems to be doing well. A graphic at the end had it at number one.
  9. I can picture Cleveland News First. Would go well with First Alert.
  10. Sounds like A&E was looking to revive Live PD before Reelz launched the new show. As for NewsNation, I read that Elizabeth Vargas is filling-in for a week on the channel, but I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up with a regular gig on the network.
  11. Now, all four of Cleveland's news stations are doing newscasts at 4PM. With WOIO on at 3pm, I wouldn't be surprised if more stations start at 3 as well.
  12. https://www.wkyc.com/article/entertainment/television/programs/donovan-live/fresh-off-velosano-sara-shookman-joining-home-team/95-b8cc72b7-38f9-4aa5-bab7-f83f05541e17 Sara has left WKYC
  13. Dominic Mancusco was the one responsible for Cleveland 19. Schrader was the one who dropped that doomed brand for 19 News.
  14. I'm surprised that the Live PD revival ended up on Reelz instead of NewsNation given that Abrams is on NN.
  15. Was NewsNation having an "Althea Tibbs-a-thon" with In The Heat of the Night reruns instead?
  16. They should have kept the WGN America name. Don't call yourselves NewsNation if you are not going to be all-news all the time.
  17. Did NewsNation do anything? I saw that it was airing Blue Bloods reruns.
  18. On the east coast, CBS went back to The Talk.
  19. WJW in Cleveland is carrying Fox News' coverage.
  20. Some changes to WJW on September 19: New Day Cleveland will air from 10am to Noon, Karamo from 1pm to 2pm, Steve Wilkos from 2pm to 3pm (moving from WUAB) and Judge Judy from 3pm to 4pm.
  21. Wilkos will soon move to 3am next week on WUAB. Drew Barrymore will move into the 10am slot.
  22. Dateline is leaving WBNX for WUAB and will air at 9am starting on September 19 replacing the Cleveland Metropolitan School District virtual classes hour.
  23. WKYC's newfound dominance also came when WJW was starting to regain its footing after a period of struggle following the 1994 network switch. WEWS would further sink after WOIO debuted its Action News format and became competitive.
  24. I think those ridiculous titles need to go. 3 seems like they want to bring in TikTok-friendly and big name personalities on board as opposed to the kind of staff they had before the big change of '19.
