  1. Spectrum in Cleveland has created a new cable spot for the new Telemundo station. It's on 17, where Court TV used to air (it moved to 16). However, it's listed on the guide as WOHZ and is showing CBS Lima.
  2. Melissa Mack has left WJW for the second time after today. The station mentioned on the 4pm news that the meteorologist is planning to spend more time with family. Dontae Jones is taking over her 4pm and 7pm weather duties.
  3. It appears that WTCL 6 is on the air in Cleveland. Telemundo on 6.1 and Circle on 6.2. The HD feeds of WOIO and WUAB are also on 19.10 and 43.10.
  4. WJW is adding Ken Carmen (morning guy at radio WKRK) and John Sabol (brother of morning meteorologist Scott and most recently in Florida) to its sports team. P.J. Ziegler is getting a bigger role, while Andre Knott also remains part of the team. https://fox8.com/sports/fox-8-sports-department-expanding-clevelands-own-ken-carman-john-sabol-to-join-us/
  5. Why is she no longer attached to the show?
  6. Could Chris Wallace also be in the running to replace Chris Cuomo in primetime?
  7. Sounds like either TEGNA doesn't actually want to be sold or wants to go through with it on its terms.
  8. That would be "The Good Dish." Wasn't there supposed to be a fourth host on that show when it was first announced as a separate show?
  9. How has Wendy's show been doing this season with all of the guest hosts? Also, how are the ratings for the other shows, especially the newer offerings?
  10. Jeopardy! sticking with its two hosts for the rest of the season. https://tvline.com/2021/12/08/jeopardy-mayim-bialik-ken-jennings-hosting-season-38/
  11. Dr. Oz will no longer air on WJW after today. Another airing of the local show "New Day Cleveland" will go on at 11am until something else will air in January.
  12. In Cleveland, Dr. Oz is seen on WJW. Could that station plug in another syndicated show or simply add another newscast?
  13. Has WEWS removed its "On Your Side" slogan/campaign? I hear it was removed from their mic flags.
  14. I'm also getting sick of the ranting and slander on this thread. It is making the posts unattractive.
  15. I wonder if the technical aspects will improve under the new GM once he comes in.
  16. FTVLive chewed out the guy who took part in the interview.
  17. Ron Regan, chief investigator at WEWS, has announced on his Facebook page that he is retiring at the end of December.

WKYC is changing up their Friday night edition of the 7pm news. Get ready for Front Row Friday! https://www.wkyc.com/article/entertainment/television/3news-proudly-launches-front-row-friday/95-39459bb2-8b48-4ad5-9db7-0dd226ba1f6d
  19. More guest hosts coming to Wendy's show. https://pagesix.com/2021/10/19/wendy-williams-absence-from-her-show-to-continue-into-november/
  20. This could almost be like the Jeopardy! situation with guest hosts coming in and out. I can't picture Wendy being happy about this, because if some hosts prove to be a hit, he or she could end up being a replacement for her
  21. Any word stations in markets not involving either CBS or Sinclair? This should be a great addition in syndication.
  22. Ratings have been better for Jeopardy! with Mayim Bialik than with Mike Richards. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/mayim-bialik-first-week-temp-154401373.html
  23. It really seems like Debmar-Mercury is pushing for Nick to be a hit. I would not be surprised if he does end up replacing Wendy and her slots. I don't see Wendy coming back soon, but you never know. If Nick makes the move, could there be another show (other than Family Feud) that would serve as a replacement or two? Oh, speaking of Nick, how is he doing in the ratings?
  24. If Nick was to move to WEWS, what would replace him on WBNX?
