  1. I'm disappointed that Licht kept the more problematic personalities, while letting the good journalists leave. I don't think he's any different than Zucker, so I don't have any high hopes for CNN.
  2. I can see WOIO/WUAB carrying that show. Having Robin with Gray makes more sense than with Nexstar/NN.
  3. WBNS used to be tops in Columbus, but now that honor goes to WSYX.
  4. Is it just me, or does WOIO seem to become even more of a revolving door lately? I have noticed that some of the talent have left.
  5. Don't forget the revivals of Roseanne, Murphy Brown and Will and Grace back around 2018 among the old shows revived.
  6. I will gladly take a Ridiculousness marathon any time over even one minute of Basketball Wives. I also thought of Bravo, which has become one hot mess of a channel, and A&E. Nothing but reality shows on both. One is known for "housewives" and the other is known for anything involving police and courtrooms.
  7. Has anyone noticed how channels like IFC, TLC and VH1 have become completely different than what they were 20 or even 30 years ago? They are nothing more than networks with different acronyms.
  8. 20/20 with Hugh and Barbara always came on after the TGIF lineup. That was Friday nights during the 1990s.
  9. Barbara really was a trailblazer. She paved way for everyone to come after her, and her legacy continues to last on both NBC and ABC. I think whatever tribute The View will pay should last more than one day. I have a feeling that show will have a Barbara feature one day throughout the year.
  10. Viewership must have been low across all news outlets on Christmas weekend. Speaking of NewsNation, I saw a promo on WJW for NN featuring Fredo and O'Reilly. No thanks!
  11. Why did CTM have FOUR anchors at one time and did that sink the show?
  12. Can PAX ever come back as a subchannel network? (Wishful thinking on my part)
  13. That's bad news for all of the users who love Fox 8 in Cleveland. Apparently, Nexstar thinks that NewsNation and The CW are bigger priorities than digital.
  14. This could be another opportunity for a rebranding of the network, which has undergone a lot of changes since it was originally PAX (after it was supposed to be PaxNet).
  15. I think they made a mistake keeping the 10pm hour. A lot of network programming is crap and whatever is sort of the weakest can move to cable and Peacock.
  16. TJ needs to go as he's becoming a bigger distraction with all the crap that's come out involving him.
  17. What would make sense is to simply move HLN over to ID and not have to change channel positions. Both channels with similar makes one necessary and the other redundant.
  18. https://amp.tmz.com/2022/12/05/gma-amy-robach-tj-holmes-taken-off-air-relationship/ Could all of the drama coming out with TJ lead to sexual harassment accusations?
  19. They couldn't wait to get rid of Morning Express. They should have replayed the last hour at 8am.
  20. Discovery Life and Family used to be Hub and was a lot better with sitcoms after the Hasbro shows. It was a good attempt to compete with Nickelodeon.
  21. I have a feeling HLN will merge with Investigation Discovery in the near future. Both channels are now identical with similar programming. Doesn't make sense to keep both of them going. How many cable networks does WBD have now?
  22. Kind of ironic that Stelter wrote this after he was let go from CNN.
  23. WEWS is celebrating 75 years on the air in Cleveland this month. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/wews-celebrates-75-years-as-a-trailblazing-station
  24. They were in such a rush to get rid of CNN+, but don't seem to mind the zombie channels. WBD is becoming a bigger joke every day.
