    WOIO might be losing MeTV as Weigel has purchased W27EA-D from Media-Com.

    The new logo is all over the station promos. Wise move to bring back the "TV55" identity. The last time they identified as "TV55" was in 1997 before they became an affiliate of The WB.

    With all of the news lately surrounding Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns, could his wife, Emily, end up leaving WKYC? She has been the station's lifestyle reporter during football season since 2019.

    Could Nexstar move him back to WGN or put him on any of their stations? Perhaps they should start airing reruns of It's Garry Shandling's Show. I would watch that.

    Is NewsNation really changing its name to Matlock? That seems bizarre. Unless that press release was taken from The Onion.

    What caused WCLQ to not step against WOIO and WBNX, especially considering 55 was more of an Akron station and wouldn't 61 have more of a head start than 19. If 61 remained as an independent through late 1986, maybe if they picked up Fox instead of 19, it could given that station a longer lifeline.

    Two Cleveland reporters are both leaving their stations after today. Adrienne DiPiazza is leaving WJW and Meg Shaw is leaving WEWS.     WKYC has turned What Matters Most from a newscast name into an overall station slogan. The 6pm news tonight was identified as "3News at 6" instead of What Matters Most.

    Spectrum in Cleveland has created a new cable spot for the new Telemundo station. It's on 17, where Court TV used to air (it moved to 16). However, it's listed on the guide as WOHZ and is showing CBS Lima.

    Melissa Mack has left WJW for the second time after today. The station mentioned on the 4pm news that the meteorologist is planning to spend more time with family. Dontae Jones is taking over her 4pm and 7pm weather duties.

    It appears that WTCL 6 is on the air in Cleveland. Telemundo on 6.1 and Circle on 6.2. The HD feeds of WOIO and WUAB are also on 19.10 and 43.10.

    WJW is adding Ken Carmen (morning guy at radio WKRK) and John Sabol (brother of morning meteorologist Scott and most recently in Florida) to its sports team. P.J.
