According to the KMGH website, Megan Jurgemeyer is no longer the news director, it's now Megan McRae, anyone know why the switch? And where did Mrs. Jurgemeyer go?

https://www.9news.com/article/news/politics/colorado-democratic-lawmakers-fcc-reject-nexstar-media-tegna-acquisition/73-fc917734-b549-4724-9235-9eca46b250dd?fbclid=IwY2xjawNnjcBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHjyQTT7KpTxJrVvGpdKczpsrgD7IKhhYzA6nUN6WJoGmERZsqf9_NhrPlJc2_aem_Ikc92VKyf9xhG3MKTGzHUQ&brid=LeD8Zy6a17ATx5nakckMTA Now this coming from Colorado senators is well shocking to say the least, I say that simply because most of the time the Colorado delegation just stays quiet on most issues, and hell it's tough for most Denver stations to even get an interview with them.

Caught this on KDVR in Denver, on Sunday, it appears that KDVR lost the FOX feed for a moment. I Don't know if this was on other FOX stations too but I captured it.

This move almost feels like the F.C.C. got it's way over ABC & Disney. Okay Mr. Kimmel may have said something in-sensitive, but at the same time it feels like ABC & Disney aren't going to stand up for there late night show, kinda lame. I 100% Agree with tyrannical bastard and what he posted up above the network doesn't have a license & now ABC is just following what Mr. Sook is doing, LAME!!!!

The FOX4 news dept is definitely going away. That is a crazy combo to think of. So now there will be basically no competition in SWFL, that's great (Not)-- gee kinda sounds like the current ownership situation in Grand Junction, CO with 3 companies owning everything (Nexstar, Gray & Mission Broadcasting).

No IPTV.

Well it seems Chris Cuomo is not doing well ratings wise, are we surprised? I guess I'm not, for as big of a news junkie that I am, I haven't watched NN in months, it's certainly not top of mind for me when breaking news happens. https://www.tvinsider.com/1212232/chris-cuomo-newsnation-ratings-reportedly-down-90-percent-to-cnn-show/

Denver San Francisco Fort Myers/Naples San Diego Seattle Spokane From what I Can tell by looking at the shows website, these are the 6 markets that don't air the program.

So www.nonstoplocal.com appears to be a news version of what excite.com (yes it's still on-line) is, because KHQ, KNDU,KNDO & KTMF all have there own local websites in addition to SWX still maintaining it's own website. And good on Cowles for doing something a bit different.

Meteorologist Jaden Knowles is joining Tegna's KUSA & KTVD in Denver in early April, as part of their Weather Impact Team. He has spent the last 2 years at American Spirit Media's KAUZ-TV "News6" in Wichita Falls TX as morning meteorologist.

I'm sure it had something to do with it wasn't and still isn't technically a legal duopoly. At one point not sure why it didn't happen but in the late 90s the F.C.C. ordered Waterman Broadcasting Corp to spin off WZVN to a 3rd party but it didn't happen.

Effective today: NBC2 NEWS (WBBH-DT) & ABC7 (WZVN-DT) are now operating under one brand & one website. NBC-2.COM & ABC-7.COM now redirect to: www.gulfcoastnewsnow.com, the 2 stations will still have separate newscasts & anchor teams but one brand. Below is the new logo for the 2 stations. Here is the article talking about the switch: https://www.gulfcoastnewsnow.com/article/gulf-coast-news-nbc2-abc7-fort-myers/63677491 IMAGE: WBBH / WZVN.

The Eaton fire is currently threatening Mt. Willson & the TV Transmitter sites for KNBC,KABC, KCBS, KKTV, KTLA, & KCAL. And probably transmitter sites for local radio stations. So quick question: where is the backup site for the L.A. TV stations? Thanks..

Spring Weather, I saw that FOX Weather was kind of on this strange loop yesterday. The Weather Channel & Weather Nation TV were both on top of the multiple alerts as they were going out. FOX Weather finally started to show alerts 20-30mins after TWC & WN, SAD situation for FOX Weather.

MidwestTV is right, they do it all the time outside. Usually when it's in studio it's for the A-Block hit on the newscast, TODAY Show Weather Updates & NBC News Daily weather Updates. What they don't use as much anymore is the camera shot from the main Weather Center that's out in the Information Center.
