  1. Don’t they have a graphics hub?
  2. But CBS should have it own news programs specifically airing on CBS only. For example CNN produced Telemundo newscasts in the 90s and was the provider of news coverage when needed. They could go the way Fox does with Fox News channel but I’m saying cbs should still have a news programs specifically airing for cbs that cnn would produce.
  3. It wasn’t meant to last forever. All the mergers and consolidations since 2013 from LIN and Media General to Belo and Garnett to McGraw Hill and Scripps they were all signs that the business was changing I saw this coming since. Local ownership won’t last long.
  4. I guess so Pittsburgh is considered a mid sized market now, it’s even smaller than mine we outgrew them. Well I guess it’s profitable that’s why.
  5. I still think this merger is gonna go through just a lot of divestments.
  6. No. KDKA is CBS Strongest station and a AFC market.
  7. CBS News NorCal makes perfect since so does CBS News SoCal.
  8. Univision shuting down the first “las noticias” 15 years ago then WLII getting sold was the beginning of the end of Univision on that station
  9. I’m checking on Greensboro and WFMY.
  10. Can the emergency motion be denied. Sorry it can be denied, so will see what the courts do.
  11. So a few divestitures I could see Paramount-Skydance, FOX, Hearst and a few other jumping into buy some spun off stations.
  12. I’m confused. So then the courts ohhhh now I get it essentially there not gonna help.
  13. So in short it’s over…
  14. Courts could still block it.
  15. Seems like a translator coverage issue to ensure reception to the whole market.
  16. Yeah what was going to WTVJ was scary I’m glad they survived and they were a major market with a doupoly and for them to be put on the auction block must’ve scared the hell out of employees at the time. Plus WSCV being all alone in the Miramar building had that gone through people were protecting that station. That also why they won’t buy anymore stations either especially ABC.
  17. Only on affiliates not the network-owned stations. A little off topic but network-owned stations are really the ones that are gonna survive all these changes in local tv. Luckily I live in a market with an O&O 3 if you count the Spanish-language stations. btw a personal friend of mine who’s a met a KVUE in Austin was affected because of this soon to be failed (hopefully) merger. Flint and Toledo was a gun to the head for ABC they just wanted to retain there Detroit and Cleveland affiliations. ABC didn’t want them.
  18. Why KABC will always be #1, and they can definitively say they don’t even have to put in English category because they also beat the Spanish stations too there the overall leader. They might be the only O&O that can say that the other ones either lose to Univision are just are in 2nd place.
  19. 4pm and 6pm shows.
  20. I remember watching on Fox 5 with Dari Alexander when I was younger. I’m won’t tell you my age but I’m under 25.
  21. One of the best news anchors New York ever had.
  22. Are you kidding me every other set in the station group is almost a carbon copy this brings variation.
  23. Univision is beating most ABC O&Os in markets like NY, LA, Fresno, Raleigh, Houston, etc. they’ll claim number 1 but not say there number 1 in English. Because the Hispanic stations are beating them sin importar del idioma.
  24. KABC has the best set in LA and in the ABC O&O group hands down.
  25. Big blow for KOMO https://youtu.be/ZTfw1PDkyPU?si=DTFYn_vii6Ogrepk Big loss for them.
