  1. Finally there the last this new look is done rolling out. It looks good on them but I will miss the last package though.
  2. Again they’re right next to each other and could remain that way for awhile, but I’m betting Raleigh might overtake them. By the way CBS News is opening a Raleigh bureau. TVNewser reported that here’s the link. https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/cbs-news-overhauls-streaming-channel-adds-new-bureaus/
  3. She could help them tremendously, I thought she was ND when was she promoted to GM?
  4. Yeah true, we was doing the same at WNBC part-timing with the network also, I recognize there very few slot to gt into network. Getting to network news today is like getting into an Ivy League college. But I hear he makes a lot of money in his current role.
  5. He's a network talent I don't know why they won't give him a network job. He be good at it he appears on CBS Sunday Morning almost several time a month, he's a frequent fill-in on the Evening News. I don't know why they won't give him an opportunity.
  6. Well see, I think well overtake them. This is from 2011 we had beaten them so It can be done again https://www.sportstvjobs.com/local-tv-market-sizes-dma-2/
  7. Vlad Dutheirs anchored tonight. What a treat!
  8. He had one on ITV, channel 10 in Australia, here in the US he was on WGN Chicago and KSWB in San Diego. Among other networks he was huge.
  9. They’re literally right next to each other. Sacramento will remain in 20 for a minute. Raleigh has also beaten queen city in previous rankings in past years.
  10. How about they just focus on KSEE/KGPE in Fresno and WNCN in Raleigh and don't do nothing else to Raleigh and Fresno. Raleigh a pretty growing market. If Perry buys WLFL they can't get WRDC, he can only pick one because if he got WLFL/WRDC/and WNCN that''s a Tripolily I don't think that's gonna happen. Same with Fresno that's 3 stations, I don't care so much for Fresno since its a small market, but I've been doing some reading about the Raleigh market they could overtake another major NC market in DMA rankings possibly in the next year and in the next 5 years they'll be a top 20 market. Perry Sook is dangerous.
  11. Just go it on TVNewscheck, god this is shocking this man was LA’s morning entertainment guy, some people tell me he do reports from LA to the San Diego audience. This was completely unforeseen mean we all go but this was very untimely.
  12. So Sinclair could fall into bankruptcy? I’m praying Raleigh gets cut from Sinclair and someone breathes life into it. I’ve seen WLFL’s programming and I’ve been to Raleigh it is so bad they air PSAs from 2006. You remember those commercials where they said “Pass it on” they’re still airing them, though it’s nostalgic.
  13. Yeah I remember when Unc said that he was insane for saying that he’ll buy the network, especially that he just about owns a station in the same market of all 8 ABC O&Os. Just imagine LA NY, Raleigh, San Francisco having to beat against your competitor and be under the same ownership.
  14. He has to have WPIX. Mark my words.
  15. WDIV will probably get the affiliation it’s kinda impossible to land somewhere else. So I see why Mission wants to close.
  16. They won’t do that. There coming back to CW they were one before they never rebranded. CW will be put on the logo
  17. They’ve lost their minds at Sinclair.
  18. Couldnt they put it on their Raleigh stations WLFL/WRDC that’s a duopoly and Fresno KMPH/KFRE that a duopoly there yet they wanted to put it on 2 ABC O&Os in the same respective station essentially they’re paying the competition. They have soup olives in Raleigh and Fresno why would they put it in a competing station in their respective cities.
  19. 2010 was the last time they debuted a new set that was when Allison Floyd and Tim McGinnis were anchors and Rich Chrampanis was still sports director all of them gone. That’s how long they had the set.
  20. Yeah it pretty difficult to get WPLG on board with a subchannel. Especially that WPLG does News for WSFL and with them dumping the affiliation that newscast is likely over. That might put a bad taste in Grahams mouth that means Scripps was not happy with their deal.
  21. What about WNYW they produce less hours of news compared to WPIX their CW competitor, they also don’t air or simulcast news on WWOR. There in the same boat as KTTV. The only difference is NY doesn’t do an 11pm show to compete against it CW competitor and FOX is #1 over CW in NYC.
  22. It called tradition, we need to keep them. Just like how WPVI the mother of the Action News brand would never do something like this and drop it. Or even worse drop Move Closer to your world. Jim Gardner retired from channel 6, in 10 years should we drop the “Action News” branding and MCTYW? No. Because it’s tradition. WXYZ in Detriot caved to modernism by rebranding.
  23. Abomination… truly awful.
  24. I could see him coming back to network. But Rob probably not leaving so no open slot. But maybe he do features and transition of off weather. He really good with features it’s like he never left GMA.
