Weird that Lori has been missing from the coverage. On Friday morning, she posted on her Facebook that she would be on Sunday (this morning) from 5AM - 9AM, but BIll and Liz were on instead. Perhaps the storm damaged her house or she had some other personal issue? She was also absent from Friday's noon newscast.

 

I haven't seen Jeff Pegues covering anything either? Lucy Yang and Jen Maxfield, too. Everyone else seems to be on air.

It seems that these reporters may have been affected by the storm. I know that Lori actually lives in NJ near where the damages were extreme so maybe she was unable to report to work due to this and this may have been a likely scenario for the remaining reporters..

Also, they may want to have some reserves to be "fresh" for this week...not totally worn out and sleep-deprived.

Sandra Bookman in for Lori this morning. Eyewitness News special report starting at 9am, preempting Regis & Kelly. Jen Maxfield is reporting this morning, so cross her off the MIA list.
