The last pieces of the set arrived on Saturday according to @JoseNBCMiami, and yes a large, pretty much dedicated weather set is happening. With the weather team already rebranding to "Weather Team 6." We might see one of those huge screens like WNJU I believe. Debut maybe by the end of the week, beginning of the next!

Update: They have just posted a new promo online

I don't know, I preferred the white version of the existing "NBC6". Also I'm on the fence on the "NBC6 South Florida" branding as well.

Beats NBC 6 Miami. That would've ticked off the Ft. Lauderdale viewers who feel slighted anytime Miami is branded without mentioning Ft. Lauderdale.

Overall this is pretty exciting, it's nice to see NBC finally invest in WTVJ again after that slow period they had after the proposed sale to Post-Newsweek fell apart.

KNSD - Station Venture Operations, LP ??

All of NBC's O&O's are legally owned by "NBC Telemundo License LLC". I'd guess it's up to the stations if they want to use NBCUniversal or whatever on the copyright graphic. In the end, it's all the same lawyers anyways.

WCAU uses nbc10.com as their official URL. It redirects to nbcphiladelphia.com though. It's just like CBS O&O sites redirecting from cbs(market).com to (market).cbslocal.com or even the ABC O&O sites redirecting from say 6abc.com to abclocal.go.com/wpvi/. It's all branding and if it makes it easier for the viewer to remember, the better.

NBC 6 has now also placed a video talking about the set onto their webpage, including some more views of the home base, interview, second desk, and last but not least....the "Weather Team 6 Kingdom", as John Morales put it:
