My guess is they are going to start re-arranging the deck chairs really fast. Now with Shay Ryan gone on weekends they are going to be left with just 3 weather people

to rotate. Word is Audrey steps in while channel 9 weather gets taped from the Fox studios

Shay bolts. Ernie gets kicked to the curb. Kelly gets kicked out of place and Price needs to be kicked back out. What in the world is going on over on East 67th?

It took them forever to get Good Day NY going good and when they finally found the right team the screw it up..Something needs to be done and fast..Greg is not fit for the night time news and thats just his personality..He likes to throw in some extra info and give his 2 cents..Diane Doctor and Lew Leone are idiots for splitting up Rosanna and Greg they had the best chemistry and owned the morning in New York..I don't think Dave should be kicked out but Greg needs to be back with Rosanna.

Just a thought. What if Rosanna is moved back to evenings being that she did say on Greg's last day that she's been dying to go back to the 10pm? Dari Alexander could be moved to mornings maybe or back to fox news. I'm never been a huge fan of Dari's personality or lack there of.

I remember that when Dianne Doctor was news director over at WCBS, she wasn't a big fan of Ernie when he was anchoring there. Wasn't that the reason he ended up jumping to WNYW in the first place?

 

Maybe Doctor believes Ernie is no good at Channel 5 now, and perhaps that's the reason she has done what she has with him. In any case, I don't agree with this, though I am not a big fan of Ernie either.

Probably because though Ernie Anastos is a legend in New York City news--I will not be the one to take that away from him--he has bounced around this market his entire career, including two stints at the aforementioned WCBS. And plus as he has gotten older--he is now 69--he has had work done...it is so obvious though. If he is trusted by so many, it should not matter what he looks like on air.

That is fair. I am a believer that your news anchor needs to be trusted and come across genuine not as an actor/actress or have the look from "central casting". There are too many of those today. I think a Bill Ritter is a good example of somebody who you can trust.

I'm not gonna lie..Greg and Rosanna had a chemistry like no other and it sucks they split them up.. But he brings a new kind of energy to the 10pm and its not so serious anymore even Dari has lightened up and its nicer to watch.. I wonder if they will ever move him back to mornings with Rosanna? People have mentioned Rosanna moving back to nights but I dont think that will work because it might become to a little to light and happy for a 10pm newscast

Probably because he always leans. The man never sits straight up. He's always leaning on his left elbow.

Maybe he thinks he's adding a more casual feel to the show.

Greg does a sad story and Dari responds with the expression "oooff" before doing the next story.

Julie does a tease about a story on Justin Bieber. Greg interrupts her saying Justin Bieber was on GDNY and Greg said he was 15 when he was 16.

He then gives away the story that Justin Bieber is going to be a judge on the X Factor.

I'm sorry but this is the worst newscast in NYC at 10pm or 11pm.

 

Greg Kelly, Dari Alexander and Heather Nauert taken off The FOX News Channel and shipped to FOX5. Ponder that.

Nothing scientific about this poll but surely conclusive evidence of the publics' dislike for the change and even more so, Price himself.

I agree. Ever watch the promos Price and Scotto now do? It's so forced; Price trying to be a 'funny man' but it comes off as terribly rehearsed and executed.

I can't imagine what Rosanna truly feels when not told to read the prompter about how much she likes her partner.

They need fix their mistake and put Greg back on GDNY.

The 10pm newscast is terrible no matter who is anchoring with Greg.

it's like a PM version of GDNY with the banter between the anchors and Greg's terrible ad libs like this one, "Ines has one of those little traffic thingies. Let's take a look."

Ernie must be embarrassed for FOX5 if he ever watches his replacement at 10pm.

It's amazing management is not doing anything to fix this mess.
