On Monday, KDKA will be running a story that will reveal the reasons why Patrice decided to leave KDKA and Pittsburgh "for good". Apparently, this is going to be quite a shocking story: http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/video/10799988-coming-up-on-monday-patrices-secret-rescuing-abused-animals/

This promo seems too good to be true. Why would they do this you know during sweeps?

I still see those informercials with her hawking some scam and still feel sad that she stooped down to that level.

I'm sure KDKA is probably not going to mention that part or at least show it in the best possible light.

I don't know who she is but what was the scam?

I have a hard time believing that the infomercial gig/scam would be why she fled Pennsylvania and not come back. That doesn't make sense... there has to be more to the story.

I'm thinking something with her husband.

Watched the segment about Patrice and it's been revealed her husband has been battling MDS since 1999 and was given 18 months to live, but is still living. Also he's written a book and came with some concoctions of medications to help him with his MDS.
