WOIO is switching game shows with WKYC. Starting September 4th, 19 will air an hour of Family Feud (previously on 3 and even 19 before on and off) at 3pm, and WKYC will air Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Hopefully, Steve Harvey will prove to be a better lead in for the 4pm newscast on 19 (if it's still going to be around).

What happens to Daytime Jeopardy? Does that go to 4PM and effectively kill the news in that hour for SnoozeFest 19?

Daytime Jeopardy is not on the schedule on 19 for September 11. My guess it will move to overnights, move to 43, or go away from Cleveland completely. The 4pm news will cut in half to make room for Inside Edition, but is hoping to benefit with Family Feud as a lead-in at 3 and 3:30pm. (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is moving to WKYC to eventually air at 3pm as a lead-in for Daily Blast LIVE) Now I wonder how the anchor lineup will change.

The answer to the hour half 4pm news on WOIO.

On a side note or two, The Simpsons are back in daytime on WUAB at 5:30pm. Also, I'm actually impressed that Spectrum kept the TWC Navigator guide.

Promo for new KVHP morning show. This looks to be a low-budget sh_t show. Yikes!

"Inside Edition" is going to air at 8:30pm on WUAB/43 in addition to airing on WOIO/19 at 4:30pm. Saw a promo for that airing earlier today. Couldn't it air only on 43 and not cut 19's 4pm news in half?

I thought that was just my bad hangover dream.

So this HAS happened to others here?

Man, Barbara Walters has let herself go in retirement.

WJXT in Jacksonville airs Inside Edition... TWICE. The new one at 4:30 and aired again at 7:30 p.m. but they usually promote the 7:30 more.

So does WWBT.

WOIO is going to continue their 4:30pm newscast solely on its Roku channel.

Yeah. Let's see how long that's going to last.

Yeah. Let's see how long that's going to last.

...and let's see if anyone EVEN notices.

I bet they spend most of that half hour trolling for "likes" and "yummies" or whatever the hell else the netizens use as tokens of appreciation.

This is weird combonation.

Raycom has acquired a newspaper firm, Community Newspaper Holdings. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

CNHI is expected to spin-off some papers where a markt overlaps with a Raycom television station.

That's a pretty out-of-left-field acquisition, considering the trend of legacy publishers that have separated their print and broadcast holdings; Hearst, Cox, News-Press & Gazette, Quincy and Meredith were the only major station owners that still had a portfolio of publications before this deal happened. Exactly which markets would have a conflict with FCC crossownership rules under the CNHI purchase?

Hopefully they'll finally challenge the TV-Newspaper cross-ownership ban (where affected). And if the FCC strikes them down, they'll have a good case to question why they can't combine but Sinclair and Tribune "can".

Huntsville and / or Birmingham. Several papers in the Louisville market, and a few of the Oklahoma, and Texas markets by the looks of it.
