ATLNewsExpert 366
Double post First off, Three Newshub in New Zealand has debuted drastic new graphics (a departure from the flat graphics Newshub has used since becoming Newshub) and set updates, relying heavily on AR. This debuted shortly before the Nov 3rd election, this look being used for election coverage. Now, over in Italy, Rai's flagship newscast TG1, barley a year since debuting their new set and graphics (the first update in 8 years), they just introduced set updates (mainly the floor and lighting), a new intro, revised theme (same as the update last year but removing the bass drop), and slightly updating the rest of the graphics package. Geoffrey 790
Not used to seeing studios putting much effort into the floor. Wonder if the next studio will continue with that.
mrschimpf 2166
To the surprise of nobody who doesn't want to stare at simulcasts of people who have faces for radio outside Piers Morgan (who ditched it last month) and isn't in the business of comparing LeBron to Johnny Unitas or Babe Ruth, TalkTV is going online-only. 1

ATLNewsExpert 366
DW News has debuted new graphics, including a new thumbnail design (getting rid of the old serif font), and lower thirds, which seem to be leaning towards a deeper shade of blue then what the network has used in the past. Intro and in studio graphics are the same but those might change too, will watch over the coming days for any other changes. ATLNewsExpert 366
As part of a greater brand overhaul, NRK Norway has debuted new graphics for all of it's news programs, including flagship "Dagsrevyen". Notably, "Dagsrevyen" has more of a global feel with it's graphics, while other shows, such as "Ođđasat", with the same graphics have a more scanadvaian focus, a nice example of how the same identity can be translated between shows. TheRolyPoly 1902
Here's something you don't hear much of anymore... CIII Global Toronto is expanding its newscasts. They're going 90 straight minutes starting at 5:00 p.m. starting Sept. 16th. TL;DR because I was unaware of some changes until now at CIII: Alan Carter has left the station in July after a 25-year run. Antony Robart moves from their morning to the new 5:00 p.m. news and will co-anchor with Tracy Tong at 6:00 while she remains solo at 11:00 p.m. Miranda Anthistle will now handle national news during their morning news and joining Candace Daniel on the broadcast. Finally, ex-CTV weekend anchor and current Queen's Park Bureau Chief Colin D'Mello will host Focus Ontario, taking over from Alan Carter. https://broadcastdialogue.com/global-news-toronto-to-add-half-hour-to-early-evening-newscast/

TheRolyPoly 1902 Posted yesterday at 09:28 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 09:28 AM - Spain Longtime Telecinco presenter Jose Ribagorda has left the network after a stellar 18 year run on weekends. It's the only network he's ever worked at, albeit a brief run at TVE in the early 2000s. Speaking of, they poached Carlos Franganillo from TVE nearly a year ago to do their 9pm edition and starting next weekend, they were able to poach away Maria Casado as well to do their weekend editions as Jose's replacement. https://www.telecinco.es/noticias/20240915/despedida-jose-ribagorda-presentador-informativos-telecinco-fin-semana_18_013454176.html
