Not trying to take away from 'GCL, but I find it hard to believe their new boss has been able to make changes that have been that successful so quickly. The big news out of Atlanta this November book is WGCL CBS46 beating WXIA in nearly all time periods, and WAGA in some others. WXIA is now the last place station in the market. Even before the recent revamp it wasn't that uncommon for WGCL to be somewhat competitive at 11pm and Noon due to the CBS leadin. It not the first time WGCL beat WXIA in the morning news, but it has happened. Seems like a lot of the Tegna stations have their ratings absolutely tank since the Gannett split. Once-dominant WWL, KSDK, WFAA etc. have had some less-than-stellar books by their standards since the split. I guess that's what happens when you push all the veteran talent out the door and hire a bunch of MMJ wage slaves to churn out "content" in their place.
