ABC 7 Denver 1729 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 The website is up, so please feel free to comment on your thoughts on programming. Seems like an awful lot of Discovery Communication programming is in syndication here. http://www.questtv.com
ABC 7 Denver 1729 Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 So, another diginet? From our friends at TEGNA.

Put on some reruns of Deadliest Catch, MythBusters, and How its Made and I'd definitely be all for it!

TriangleTriadMediaNews 267 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Looks like WUSA isn't picking it up. Right now, their only subchannel is Justice Network.
nathannah 2493 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Looks like WUSA isn't picking it up. Right now, their only subchannel is Justice Network. They've got the WJAL share to deal with (they had to dump Bounce TV to fit it in) so they'll have to wait to go 3.0 or for a new multiplexer to add new networks.

ABC 7 Denver 1729 Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 Speaking of digital subnets, why haven't ween seen a second-run food show network? There is tons of cooking programming and food style doesn't exactly age quickly.

ABC 7 Denver 1729 Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 Well, if Quest TV does well, the door will certainly be open for something like that. Agreed! I like the name Kitchen TV too.

ABC 7 Denver 1729 Posted January 7, 2018 Author Posted January 7, 2018 Create mostly fills that void in the non-comm world. But what about in the commercial world?
Conrad 113 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 But what about in the commercial world? There used to be Disney/ABC's Live Well Network. It was a lifestyle diginet. Did it carry cooking shows?
TheRolyPoly 2552 Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Unless its being debuted on DT4 subchannels, expect some of TEGNA's remaining 24-hour weather subchannels like KPNX's and WHAS' to go away as Quest will more likely fill those subchannel slots (12.2 and 11.3, respectively).
TexasTVNews 1378 Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 As I mentioned, in my home here in Dallas; it looks like QUEST will be on WFAA Channel 8.4. I'm pretty sure that WFAA's 24-hour weather subchannel remains in place on 8.2.
