ESPN is actually doing something right for once.
nathannah 2520 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 NHL Network did the simulcast last year, so that's definitely a move up the ladder.
JCB4TV 352 Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 I thought ESPN no longer gave a damn about the NHL, especially since the only person left in their Hockey Department being Barry Melrose, and sadly, Jamielle Hill may last longer then him.

How many times is she going to be brought up with her name spelled wrong before you realize that she's no longer with ESPN? Just asking.

Journalist 894 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I thought they usually simulcast Sportsnet? Or NBCSN? NHL Network always simulcasted Sportsnet. ...and will continue to do so this year.
Viper550 292 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 They used to simulcast TSN until the Rogers deal and the shutdown of NHL Network Canada (which TSN largely ran).
Georgie56 3333 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I never realized how much better Canadian sports media is than American sports media.
AaronQ 288 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 I never realized how much better Canadian sports media is than American sports media. Well that because TSN doesn't thrive on crap ass hot takes and crappy debate shows unlike ESPN and FS1.

TSN simulcasts a lot of the ESPN debate shows in the afternoon, Sportsnet airs a lot of poker and darts to cover the afternoons. 360 breaks for the Prime Time Sports radio simulcast and then the evenings are a bit of a mix bag - sometimes you get poker, other times an NHL game or WWE all night long.

I had access to SN360 for a while and enjoyed P.T. Sports (didn't mean to go off topic). Anyways, with CBS Sports HQ now in the picture, no need for ESPNews anymore because CBS-SHQ has filled it once again.

I think John Buccigross is still there. Granted I've seen him do other sports, but he's most known for hockey, especially his #BucciOTChallenge on Twitter.
