Having the downs arrow switch sides depending on direction is kinda clever (though they're not rendering the downs arrow on-field either). It also doesn't auto-hide during plays anymore.

They actually discontinued the auto-hide starting with the Wild Card game this past January.

Also, they're limited in the selection of team colors they can use in graphics because their fonts have no drop shadows or outlines, so they often have to use compromise background colors to make their text readable.

So far this is just a bog-standard Sunday game (except they're really making the case that Thursday football is lousy game wise). Also, this WJZ'esque production music is terrible.

As far as the production music prior to commercials, it's really no different than a standard Sunday Fox game. You only ever hear the Fox theme a few times after the game intro.
Northerner 32 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 I don't think they'd unveil something new in Week 4(?) when the simulcast starts up. I like the NFL on Fox graphics but was expecting some kind of cool combo/look like we've gotten in the past with CBS and NBC.
