GodfreyGR 812 Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Got a couple retirements here in the Upper Midwest on December 5... Daren Danielson is retiring from WDIO/WIRT. Daren has been the station's anchor since 2011, but has been a fixture in the market for years at KDLH and WDSE. Judy Clark is retiring as anchor at WEAU after 35 years with the station.
TheRolyPoly 3510 Posted November 8, 2025 Posted November 8, 2025 I'm adding another one... WTNH's Darren Kramer. Later this month, more likely after Thanksgiving, he'll be retiring after 24 years at WTNH and 38 overall in the business. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/darrenkramer8_a-little-personal-news-after-38-years-in-share-7391577788488568832-mvhw?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&rcm=ACoAABqGw-0BrOQ_9csrv95OAtvM37gqLkE_dSc

They changed call letters in 1986 after Group One sold off WAKR AM and WONE-FM but kept Channel 23. Eric Mansfield also used to work for WAKC as well and did a holiday story from that very same Kmart location! Edited November 11, 2025 by tyrannical bastard
