I'm adding another one... WTNH's Darren Kramer.

Later this month, more likely after Thanksgiving, he'll be retiring after 24 years at WTNH and 38 overall in the business.

Kevin Ogle will soon have to look for a new co-anchor after November 7th. After nearly 20 years at KFOR, having started as an intern, Joleen Chaney is stepping down and leaving the station due to some recent health challenges.

Her goodbye is here. After an 18-year run, last night was her last as she steps into public service:

Apparently, its not the first time Mark Johnson and Betsy Kling were seen together on air.

WKYC brings you this 1991 report from what was WAKR 23 on the opening of a new K-Mart (remember those? Lmao).

Technically it was WAKC at that point... They changed call letters in 1986 after Group One sold off WAKR AM and WONE-FM but kept Channel 23.

Eric Mansfield also used to work for WAKC as well and did a holiday story from that very same Kmart location!

After 25 years at WFOR, and a good chunk before that at WPLG, and being in Miami television for nearly 50 years, Eliott Rodriguez is stepping down in what seems like retirement.

December 19th will be his last newscast so right before Christmas.

Curious to know if Jim and Elliot's retirement are tied to all of the upheaval at CBS News and their O&O stations.

Sure sounds like they might be buyouts, timing-wise

Warren Armstrong will anchor his last 11pm newscast for KFSN in early January.

Then, it won't be until late next year, November 2026 to be exact, when Warren (who'll still be anchoring at 5 and 6pm until then) will retire from KFSN after a four-decade career in broadcasting, and by then 26 years at KFSN.

Its 10 years in federal prison for former KNXV anchor Stephanie Hockridge for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the COVID loan scheme trial. It would've been 20 but she's only getting half that.

Not only that, her husband will be sentenced next month and together with her, her husband, and other defendants in this case will have to collectively pay together $64 million to the Small Business Administration as restitution.

As Jeff Gianola (KOIN/Portland) retires this week, the station posted this long-form conversation with Jeff and KOIN anchor Ken Boddie. This was very well done.

And quickly become a Sinclair employee after a short time if Sinclair and Scripps goes through.

Unrelated to that but for those with recorders...

Tracy Davidson's last day at WCAU is tomorrow.

Jeff Gianola's last day at KOIN is on Wednesday.

On March 22nd, 2026, AFN will be sunsetting their satellite service.

Users are recommended to switch over to AFN NOW, their streaming app.

As a result, AFN | Spectrum, AFN | Family (+ AFN | Pulse), and AFN | Movie are all going away. What's left? AFN | Prime (Atlantic and Pacific), AFN | News, and AFN | Sports (1 and 2).
