cacLA8383 1
Funny thing is, when they first started using this prior look they were using that particular one's ticker, but somehow reverted back to the old Raycom one around late 2022 or so. I was actually anticipating they'd switch to GrayONE once they moved to their newer building later this year. KnoxvilleTVFanDerrick 3
I saw this and I believe that WKYT is going to look so much better with these new GrayONE graphics. Now, it is making me wonder how WYMT is going to look whenever they get these graphics. 1 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/17000-the-ever-evolving-gray-graphics-situationthread/page/51/#findComment-297367 Share on other sites

As the creater of the map, i will happily explain: It is a work in progress More stations will be added sporadically, within a week or two of station going GrayONE, it will be added as well. I forgot to post it here since i have not been here regularly since the Domain snafu earlier this year. 2 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/17000-the-ever-evolving-gray-graphics-situationthread/page/51/#findComment-297496 Share on other sites

I guess they're too engrained with the blue going all the way back to their pre-Raycom days under Louisiana Media post-Emmis. Beating WWL into submission and being the top station in New Orleans is probably something they don't want to mess with. They have the reach that the other stations simply don't have in terms of freedom to program newscasts. WDSU is all alone and anything WWL (WUPL) and WGNO (WNOL) even tries to put out can't even hold a candle to what WVUE can put out... TennTV1983 801
I'm not gonna post the video because it hasn't made it on-air yet, but WMC-TV could be switching to GrayONE this week, and from what I've seen, from the graphics to the music itself, it's one of my new favorite implementations. 1 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/17000-the-ever-evolving-gray-graphics-situationthread/page/51/#findComment-298126 Share on other sites
