I feel WVUE will be unveiling a new look very soon...maybe even tonight after the Super Bowl. Their latest "Local First" promo hints at it.

Good WVUE needs it after all there hard times they need it, especially a new set.

Why do they need a new set, when they just got that a few years ago?

WVUE is in a VERY good place right now.   They are essentially the #1 station for the first time ever after Tegna had trashed WWL and WVUE can do the things that WWL can no longer do on WWL.  WDSU is a solid runner up, and well, sooner or later Nexstar will figure out what to do with WGNO....

Hopefully when change comes to WVUE, it will be a good one graphically, and the effect will be minimal in their on-air product.

Over in Biloxi, even though the WLOX packages is a major downgrade from what they had before, they still dominate that market and make WXXV look like the 5th place station in a 2 station market.

It's getting a bit silly with all these News Nows..... Hawaii News Now, Dakota News Now, 16 News Now, etc....

They should've just call it KEYC News and just leave it at that. But now they've incorporated.... the play button.

What a downgrade of a logo for KEYC.   As if the WFAA Tegna-ified logo wasn't bad enough...

I'm not even sure what Gray is thinking here (IF they are even thinking at all)

That and now all of the sudden KEYC is influenced by Tegna. This could very well end up being an epic disaster at KEYC.

Better than KRDO who's the last station using CounterPoint.

Actually, former sister-station KJCT uses Counterpoint for its Daybreak (simulcast on KKCO) & 5:30pm shows.

EDIT: KKCO & KJCT uses The Rock (the rhythmic cue without the NBC chimes) for "The 10".

Hmm. You may want to send a note about that to the NMSA.

No, they don't need a new set.

Now that I think about it, the main Mardi Gras festivities are right around the corner. IMO, it's a good time to unveil the new graphics.

Is there any way WRDW/WAGT can get the new Gray graphics? Their current graphics are terrible (especially with weather), probably the worst of any Gray-owned station. Then again, that has always been one of the weakest stations in their portfolio.
