The West Michigan TV stations do the ID top & bottom of the hour, WWMT & ARC WMI now have bugs during syndication since Mid-July. WXMI Fox17 shows the bug going into syndication shows and goes within 10 or 15 seconds.

Here in Phoenix, it's interesting as I see KSAZ (FOX) & KPNX (NBC) do station ID's not just at the top of the hour, but also during network programming, coming out of local station breaks, even if they return & a network promo or nat'l ad is airing.

A stupid idea would be to cut the local stations out of the CW.

 

They should just go the UPN route and sell off any station that does not have a CW affiliation if they want to go that far.
