tyrannical bastard 3951
KABB Fox 29 in San Antonio, TX is now "FOX SA" with a custom package and the tagline "Puro San Antonio" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYj_fmFO9Ro I wonder if this could become a trend for other Sinclair stations, especially those that were mortally wounded this past spring? MediaZone4K 2176
The intro was okay, buy everything gets weighted down by terrible Sinclair graphics and studio lighting. 1 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/19872-fox-sa-kabb-rebrand/#findComment-290726 Share on other sites

You're not going to get great work. 3 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/19872-fox-sa-kabb-rebrand/#findComment-290727 Share on other sites
tyrannical bastard 3951
In a place like San Antonio, it's an irony for Sinclair to be marketing the station that way, with it's strong and historic ties to the Hispanic population. Because we all know downstate, stuff is going on at the border that they sure love to cover, along with someone's very important laptop. susquvalleywgal 517
I will never complain how dated CBS21 looks here ever again. And the NBC side of that duopoly is not having that rebrand at all. Those talent opens ... yeesh. -- Matt 2 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/19872-fox-sa-kabb-rebrand/#findComment-290742 Share on other sites

Payton39 25
Backing up previous comment on privating the video. I know SA has a large Hispanic population, but "Puro San Antonio" seems more appropriate for a Telemundo affiliate or whatever else they have in SA. tyrannical bastard 3951
Bumping this thread as I caught a little of "Fox SA". Even the way they pronounce "SA" is very much like the Spanish word "ese". Keep on pandering Sinclair! 2 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/19872-fox-sa-kabb-rebrand/#findComment-299710 Share on other sites
