Graphics are decent - overall it's a bit better than my initial impressions when we first saw this iteration of the graphics start to roll out.

Hopefully the latest Strive music updates will grow on me, but I far prefer the original 2012 cuts and especially the 2017 update cuts.

KOAT needs to work on the time/temp bug... But other than that, this is how a group-wide rollout should happen.

KMBC has some issues with their ticker overlapping as well, but agreed! Good rollout!

When KOAT switched to Diagrid v1 back in 2013, they still had the koat.com bug from the floating logo package the first few days but then changed the bug to match.

Okay, cool. However I noted that the ticker is covering about half of the L3. Nothing life or death, all of us here know that there at always some glitches when you do a live rollout.

So apparently the package WBBH in Ft Myers received when they became a Hearst station was suppose to be for all its stations.

Company scrapped it and went back to the drawing board.

Look at the "D24" 7 day from WESH.

I'm glad they went back to the drawing board.. The WBBH version had some issues with visibility... The newer version is way better.

Icons are way too big. Lots of wasted negative space underneath the rain percentage. That needs to be shrunk, icons moved up, and also shrunk.

So far, the remaining stations are still using Diagrid v2.  That still leaves KCCI, WYFF, WXII, WJCL, WVTM, WMTV, KSBW, KETV, WDSU, WAPT, WPBF, WTAE, WBAL, KOCO, WGAL, and WLKY.

I think you meant WMTW on that one.

Also, don't forget KHBS/KHOG. They, too, are in Diagrid v2 for now.

The only thing I don't like about D25bpckage is the size of the bottom info bar/morning ticker.  The font size is WAY TOO small.

It also seems to be have been stripped of everything but temperatures? I'm not seeing traffic times or stories at all, just the usual 'follow our staff on social' ticker message. Also disappointed that they have never thought to overlay the default morning show tickers with their richer tickers.

What do you mean by this?

That they use their ticker rather than the default ones Today and GMA use, which seem to be updated once at 6:59 am and quickly become irrelevant and out of date both locally and nationally.

Hearst NBCs use the default Today ticker.

Here's an example of the Hearst ticker on during GMA (for a local breast cancer campaign), which definitely looks a lot better than the default ticker. I much prefer this to a text ticker which has the same eight stories until 8:55 either national or local.

WLKY probably has the most incompatible logo for the diagrid look. You've shoved an oval into a trapezoid with an absurd amount of dead space. I'm a bit surprised they haven't refreshed it yet.

I enjoy the irony that they stopped using the variant of that logo with the channel number in favor of the one with the Eyemark when the old overlapping 32 logo from 25 years ago was in a parallelogram similar to the diagrid motif.
