The opening theme was a 1985 update of the late 70s 'only one 2' news theme, while the bumpers sound like cousins of what would come weeks later with the classic Michael Randall theme. And an October 1986 KTVU Ten O'Clock News - weeknight with Dennis and Elaine. The end has a piece of the 1985 remix 'Only one 2' theme.

That is a good question, because this is from LA Air Force's classic "Cheap Radio Thrills" package. This cut was also used on WHSV in Harrisonburg, VA for their "Action News" broadcasts back in the late 1970s.
