  1. This genuinely sucks. After Kayna Whitworth left for ABC, she's been the rock in the AM. She'll be hard to replace. FTVLive suggests she'll end up at WFXT. As long as it isn't the Witness Protection Program (AKA NBC Boston) http://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2018/1/28/out-the-door-in-boston

  2. At least KGPE kept a form of their prior logo. Former sister station WTEV (now WJAX) got Cox-ed with this disaster of a logo....

  3. Even the last WBMG logo is a vast improvement! (and it looks like their bastard cousins over in Atlanta ripped them off for their CBS 46 logo several years later!)

  5. Cheryl Scott is off tonight. Larry is filling in. Not sure if Phil is also off tonight or if they changed the way he's utilized when Cheryl is off. I didn't catch any of the earlier newscasts.

  8. Well, that's one way to get him off the air. I'll bet he never comes back after recovery over jealously of Boris.

  11. From Portugal: RTP1's Sunday evening news opener from August 26, 1990, anchored by Paula MagalhĂ£es. That catchy tune starts at 0:26.

  12. Okay, so I'm not the only one with the theory that Good Day Chicago is in a holding pattern until they see what happens to WGN Morning News, and whether or not they can get their hands on talent.

  13. and that is what confuses me... TV twinks are all the rage right now and you would think he was gonna be able to write his own ticket. But then he makes this series of bonehead moves... Simply put... None of what he did made any sense. Unless he had a hissy-fit. That happens.

  18. Agree 100%. But how is this different than joking about a nuclear disaster in Hawaii or any other disaster like the Vegas shooting? It’s not, yet no one sounds a peep when a certain poster makes those jokes.

  19. Joking about content is one thing, but about a well-being of someone else is a whole other game. Wishing good thoughts.

  20. You sure that's 1998? Wowza! Those graphics had to have been in use for years. Also...KFBB is on the Silvertree client list. @TServo2049 this is one you'll want to see!

  21. If WGCL can keep their momentum up because they beat WXIA for third place in November . They've tied with WSB at noon.Their morning EP put a message out saying their 4:30am tied with WSB for #1. With it being a revolving door hoping the new management will keep things right and build off of that. It was time for Ben to go he can do his conspiracy theories rants on other platforms, but he had to know how the outcome was going be. As for who sits next to Sharon Reed somebody should school management who John Bachman is and he worked at WSB TV. CBS46 has the momentum keep it going they're passing WAGA & WXIA different days on it newscast..It their time to make those money moves & stop making stupid moves.

  24. Even if Sinclair completely destroys WGN Morning News, I can't imagine anyone leaving for WFLD and/or a huge amount of viewers turning to GDC. Jenny and Mike were a good pair. Can't for the life of me figure out why WFLD dropped her.

  25. As silly as this sounds, Swann is young and good looking, traits that very few conservative journalists/commentators have. There's definitely value in that.
