Why is Carson greedy for so many jobs, cris crossing back to LA and NYC and back. I don't care for Craig Melvin and to me he truly adds nothing to the show. Non of the hosts add anything, Today show is just fluff television. I stopped watching years ago but their juicy behind the scenes gossip is more interesting then the show and the hosts.

WFAA had the old website layout earlier this morning.

What is the point? Do they think not streaming just drives people to traditional TV? It doesn't.

Disappointing getting rid of their 4pm news. But, interesting. It looks like the show is called "Take5 Seattle". Here is the description of the show on Twitter... News on a mission: learn something, feel something, DO something. Community, Empowerment, Innovation, Inspiration, Advocacy. Sounds TEGNA to me. Hope it ends up being a good show and does good in the ratings. I like how TEGNA innovates things, but they just don't innovate the right way all the time. When did Angela Russel join KING 5? Is this the same Angela Russel from KIRO? She should be anchoring at KING on a normal broadcast not some new show. She's a very strong journalist. I would LOVE to see Marni Hughes join KING. She's awesome.

She did stellar work as Global's provincial politics reporter for CITV and CICT Calgary (based out of Edmonton), and did great work for Global National and The West Block. On top of the layoffs announced across Global News yesterday, this one IMO is a blow to the news organization.

...and every news director gets sued at least a few times...no matter the market size. I would go as far to bet the lawsuits have NOTHING to do with anything. ABC and it's affils are sued every single day of the week for all kinds of reasons.

If WGN is ever going to debut new sports graphics and update the logo, it's not going to be this preseason. They're still on the old look for today's season debut featuring the Cubs and White Sox. Sidenote: they're using the CHW and CHC abbreviations on the scoreboard, and that looks so weird for a local telecast. Update: they restored the team names later in the broadcast.

Here is something that may have not been shared. It's a video about WAFF's new home as reported back in 1982. At the beginning of the video, you hear the 1-minute version of WAFF's news theme. It is amazing!

Bad enough that a lot of the legacy Nexstar stations still don't live stream their newscasts, now this happens. Something tells me they're on the verge of axing the streams altogether next as another one of many many cost-cutting moves by this station group.

That station was originally a satellite of KTWO, and had its stick just south of Cheyenne. They moved it to Fort Collins because it would cover far more households. No way they move it back north.
