  1. So, in other words, CBS doesn't like CBS TM airing on a junior partner of a duopoly partner (unless it's the Saturday edition of CBS TM) right?

  2. Doug left in 1994 retired. Angela Pace had left CMH for BNS in 1992 and Doug/Colleen worked for a hot minute. Colleen was on the weekends until Angela left. Gail Hogan was on LIVE at FIVE & 5:30 LIVE. Cabot Rea, had been with the station a long time and took over for Doug Adair. Cabot, was weeknight main anchor from 1994-2016 (22 Years) but had a total 31 years at CMH. Colleen still going and she been there since 1987. 31 years total. Jerry Revish as been at BNS for 38 years.

  4. I know someone has shared some video from this site before but McMillen and Wife’s Pittsburgh Steelers Fansite has TONS of vintage Pittsburgh Steeler games on their site recorded off of Pittsburgh TV stations mostly from WIIC/WPXI as they were the Steelers flagship station for preseason games and regular season NBC games. You can skim through games and find a lot of vintage ads, which is how I have my avatar pic. www.mcmillenandwife.com

  8. Tamron Hall had the same clause in her last NBC contract. That's how she became co-host of the 9:00 hour. When they hired Megyn Kelly, word is she was offered the 3rd co-anchor slot as a consolation prize, but she opted to leave and it was given to Hoda. Dylan probably had it in her contract that she get top billing with the other anchors.

  9. At least KUTV, KOTV, and WWL have duopoly partners to continue a post-7am newscast. What about WFMY? AFAIK, they still run The Good Morning Show until 8am and WFMY has no duopoly partner to move the 7am hour.

  10. Yeah but, I'm afraid to say that CBS will do the same to KOTV that they did to KUTV (and then watch as viewers abandon KOTV for KOKI) Even though KOTV has dominated TV News in Tulsa for 17 years but, all it'll take for that dominance to end is by CBS forcing KOTV to air CBS This Morning in pattern

  14. It's 48 minutes of WTVX commercials from 1989...including several news breaks presented by Curt Fonger and Evelyn Cole. By this time, the station was already an independent. Interestingly, the first one uses newer and more elaborate L3s than most of the others.

  24. Chalk it up to WFMJ being a massive revenue stream in Youngstown. IDK if it's still true but WFMJ would outrank WKBN and WYTV COMBINED at 6pm thanks to having Oprah as a lead out. Better syndication and local ownership has helped WFMJ maintain dominance over WKBN and "27's bitch".
