  1. Waiting for them to put Teresa Priolo back in Bianca's slots for just long enough so you think it's permanent before hiring a replacement.

  2. Next domino of the Lexington Scripps cluster to fall: starting Tuesday, May 25 WLEX and WTVQ will move to simulcast a new morning show "LEXNews at Sunrise." https://www.lex18.com/news/covering-kentucky/lex-18-and-abc-36-to-launch-combined-morning-newscast-lexnews-at-sunrise-on-may-25 WTVQ already simulcasts the weekend news, and it appears replacing Good Morning Kentucky is next. For now, it appears that WTVQ's news department will continue to produce its own noon, 3pm, 5-6:30pm, and 11pm news. https://www.facebook.com/doug.high.1/posts/pfbid0pTyaJ5cVCXL7PEcWnK6RMRVh4jhyFiukSgVW3KXA6VVyaQneckWcsdweVVxWr2o9l

  3. I'd imagine there will be a shift in 11pm viewership with the demise of Colbert. I noticed that when they run a promo for an upcoming news story (like Better Get Baquero), they always say to watch on the specific day at 6am (the hour when the segment will air). Like they don't tell people that the show actually begins at 4:30.

  4. They will likely stick with reruns of 'Sherri' until the Fall (September) and move either the Jason Show or TMZ/Extra to 1P (or 2P if they move JHud up to 1P). Can't see them airing only one hr of 'Chicago Live'.

  5. But they also do a podcast-y news/talk (radio-like?) format on streaming from 1-4pm. Any of that could be plugged in on 32 or 50, just like their 6-7 & 8-9pm shows are, on the latter station.

  6. It’s just May. The stations don’t need to be focused on ensuring they’ve announced what they’ll be filling some slots with yet. There are plenty of options between what’s in the market and in-house, depending on the station. All will become clear soon enough.

  7. As previously stated, WRC and KNSD don't have to worry about replacing Access because of existing newscasts and the Jeopardy/Wheel hour respectively.

  8. The grand dames of Channel 4 (WNBC 1990). Sue Simmons, Pat Harper, Carol Jenkins all in one video, followed by a cool montage of New York City.

  9. Response is here: https://jumpshare.com/share/nuAG0KuJGA8cfHdvfx0M I'm not smart enough to know which case is in better standing legally and in terms of what could happen if heard by a jury. The realist in me says if there isn't some out of court settlement, by the time this case gets scheduled for a trial his noncompete would likely be expired - making a lot of elements of both cases moot. Only guaranteed winner: lawyers getting billable hours.

  10. I've been to WZZM's studios... WOOD has em beat by a mile... The only good thing is that WZZM is literally right next to I-96 for easy access while WOOD is on College Ave aways from any highway access...

  11. Based on looking at bios, it appears Duarte Geraldino and Briella Tomasetti are both also gone from the channel.

  12. They definitely leased corporate office space in Tysons Corner. Washington Business Journal reported they downsized and moved a few blocks last year. https://www.bizjournals.com/washington/news/2025/09/04/tysons-tegna-hq-relocation.html (paywalled link) Going to guess that new HQ was a relatively short term lease.

  14. They (and Ch. 7) are beneficiaries of those no longer WCBS with the changes at CBS News. I know several who no longer watch CBS News NY (or name of the month). They had enough of David Ellison, Bari Weiss and placating the temporary WH resident.

  15. Interesting seeing this especially since ABTV is going to be the network for L.A. Kings hockey (his other hosting gig) going forward as well. And the fact they're replacing him with radio guy Trent Rush & yet for road games, just keep the rest of the radio crew in Anaheim is ridiculous. Arte Moreno might as well send them on the road with the RSN now under their control.
