  3. One solution may be to have identical newscasts except for weather coverage, which can be accomplished by having 1 or 2 additional meteorologists at the parent station and a second green screen so they can go live there if needed.

  7. I'm not saying I necessarily disagree with some of the points Rosanna made. But, she (as usual) drifts into editorialization. Sanctuary "Trap" for example is a loaded title. "This is coming to a city near you, unfortunately" which she said, is also another iffy statement. That's fine for Fox News Channel, but very slippery for her already compromised 'neutral image' role on GDNY.

  8. Hello everyone, back with two newscasts. Here is our most recent one, released today, to sort of show we're working off of feedback, @Geoffrey I discovered a way in my editor that actually significantly increases each files' audio, hope it show's in this newscast and future one's as well. And our second to most recent episode, where we interviewed a member of our Board of Education, really proud with how the interview turned out, we used three cameras for that professional look, one camera on the interviewer, one on the guest, and one wide shot for both. Also, just today I updated our YouTube channel with new thumbnails! As always, all feedback, comments, questions, are welcome!

  23. One obvious knockoff was done to the Hearst "camera" package (used from 1995/96-2003/04). I'm not sure if any other stations have used a standardized graphics originally used by another station group other than those run by the Big Four networks. KEZI used this copy during the late 1990s-early 2000s. The lower thirds are styled the same as how the Hearst stations used them, down to the use of BankGothic; however, the intros use a combination or Copperplate and what appears to be either Helvetica Extended or Univers. Also, Score's "ABC Affiliate News Package" was used instead of "The B Package" or "Image News".

  24. Back in the 90s, there were several stations that copied off of 's look and logo, including those that were owned by Bert Ellis at the time ( , , and KSLA). Even and (pre-WKMG) had copied off the look at one time.
