1. Well-designed, a great mix of white woods and blues, and isn't depressing or clinical in the slightest. I really like this.
2. And yet they still scream CNN circa 2011. Now with a touch of GMA circa 2015 update.
3. I think I'm having whiplash right now.
4. Yep. She deserves a award for putting in all this work five days a week.
5. Yeah, I could see something like that as a show. It has happened before. I think--more than likely (like 90% sure), that 6A will be its home. Hasn't been in use since the cancellation of The Meredith Viera Show in May (and Maya and Marty in July) of last year. Although, they could also use 3B, 8G and 8H, but that's highly UNlikely.
6. I'd like to think this is a good thing, because I watch Bounce and Laff almost faithfully. But since management will stay the same and higher ad revenue & investment will be coming in, this more than probably is. So great for everyone involved. I'd also like to assume high station changeover as well?
7. Ehh, it's alright. but since I gotten used to the last one so much (and has gotten better to look at [iMO]), this looks like a downgrade in comparison. In fact it looks like someone's mock had gotten on-air. This one needs to be perfected--like tightened and refined.
8. Oh okay. I misread that. Thank you.
9. So around Thanksgiving they'll reveal the new set? Thank Christ! It's been too long. Also on sweeps month too? Perfect timing. Wait. Wasn't their 40th anniversary last year?
10. Meh. Not great but not bad either. Just a fine middle-of-the-road.
11. And my response is also not doctored.
12. WPVI has a new set. Glorious.
13. But...part of that break has O&Os and affiliates doing short updates and local commercials before GMA (along with Today and CTM) continue on. Breaks not including those feature short weather hits and coming up teasers. I honestly thought everyone knew this (even if/when the content changed with the times).
14. This I can answer. It's the part of the set that discuses topics related to social media. It's called the "Orange Room" in relation to it's logo--both are orange. It's purpose is to at least keep the show going; whether it interests a viewer or not is another story.
15. Terrorism (in some ways) may not be nonsense, but Boris certainly is. And then some.
16. OANN is on FiOS among the news channels, but I'm sure they'd have exactly that number of viewers on average anyway.
17. Sign? No. Part of the actual plan from the start? Yes.
18. WPVI's getting a new set! Teething with anticipation...
19. Bumping... We have a first look at the new set... and...it's coming in FIVE DAYS.
20. I loved this last set. It's circular design and usable features worked so much to its advantage, and made it one of the best in my book. Even in a market where all of them were fantastic. ... (well, except WNYW, of course.) I know this new one'll look a bit like KCBS or WBZ, but that makes me even more excited.
21. The celebration was small and lowkey (as expected) but was still humbling and wonderful.
22. I watching the 4pm when they mentioned a special celebration of Jim Gardner's tenure as 6 & 11 anchor for tonight at 11. Shall be a must-watch.
23. [https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...34b6d506b37_story.html?utm_term=.48d92ad94456] I know I shouldn't, but more than ever I'm more convinced that Sinclair has a plot to take over most of TV to turn it into state TV-lite. And more than ever, I'm cringing at it's success. I feel sorry for everyone at the Trib stations, TheRob most definitely included.
