1. Poor and givivg up? Really? ABC's World News Tonight, World News Now, America This Moning, Good Morning America Weekend, Nightline AND 20/20 have shared the same space (and sets) for years, and no one said crap about them being poor. And funny thing, (almost) all of them are (in some ratings) #1! Thing is, CBS could've built a new set for the Evening News, but chose not to because the CTM set has and does everything EN would need for its' presentation to emphasize it's preference of substance over style. Just sayin'.
2. It looks really good; but everything is scarily down to the letter though. Even the graphics and temp bug...
3. Well-designed, a great mix of white woods and blues, and isn't depressing or clinical in the slightest. I really like this.
4. And yet they still scream CNN circa 2011. Now with a touch of GMA circa 2015 update.
5. I think I'm having whiplash right now.
6. Yep. She deserves a award for putting in all this work five days a week.
7. Yeah, I could see something like that as a show. It has happened before. I think--more than likely (like 90% sure), that 6A will be its home. Hasn't been in use since the cancellation of The Meredith Viera Show in May (and Maya and Marty in July) of last year. Although, they could also use 3B, 8G and 8H, but that's highly UNlikely.
8. I'd like to think this is a good thing, because I watch Bounce and Laff almost faithfully. But since management will stay the same and higher ad revenue & investment will be coming in, this more than probably is. So great for everyone involved. I'd also like to assume high station changeover as well?
9. Ehh, it's alright. but since I gotten used to the last one so much (and has gotten better to look at [iMO]), this looks like a downgrade in comparison. In fact it looks like someone's mock had gotten on-air. This one needs to be perfected--like tightened and refined.
10. Oh okay. I misread that. Thank you.
11. So around Thanksgiving they'll reveal the new set? Thank Christ! It's been too long. Also on sweeps month too? Perfect timing. Wait. Wasn't their 40th anniversary last year?
12. Meh. Not great but not bad either. Just a fine middle-of-the-road.
13. And my response is also not doctored.
14. WPVI has a new set. Glorious.
15. But...part of that break has O&Os and affiliates doing short updates and local commercials before GMA (along with Today and CTM) continue on. Breaks not including those feature short weather hits and coming up teasers. I honestly thought everyone knew this (even if/when the content changed with the times).
16. This I can answer. It's the part of the set that discuses topics related to social media. It's called the "Orange Room" in relation to it's logo--both are orange. It's purpose is to at least keep the show going; whether it interests a viewer or not is another story.
17. Terrorism (in some ways) may not be nonsense, but Boris certainly is. And then some.
18. OANN is on FiOS among the news channels, but I'm sure they'd have exactly that number of viewers on average anyway.
19. Sign? No. Part of the actual plan from the start? Yes.
20. WPVI's getting a new set! Teething with anticipation...
21. Bumping... We have a first look at the new set... and...it's coming in FIVE DAYS.
