Good. Finally! And after so long too. Shirley is a (near-)perfect, talented and well-deserved replacement, and I find her rapport with Kori professional yet refreshing and enjoyable. I wish her a tenure in the evenings as long as (if not longer than) Tamsen.

Wow, that Eagles green looks great; way better than it has any right to be. Certainly blows Black-and-Gold out of the water for personalized GFXs colors in my eyes.

Yeah.

Damming indeed. That is some gross, salacious, embarrassing and unconscionable behavior lead by an inflated ego and a self-serving drive for more airtime. And the fact that executives at the time of these communications just let him off the hook each time is just as terrible. If this won't lead to his termination or resignation from the network, nothing will.

I've been looking forward to WPVI getting these graphics since I first saw WLS using them, and they are as breathtakingly incredible here as they are there. Agreed about the new 7-Day; it hits different to me but looks so great nonetheless that they'll grow on me.

Great to see the old set back in use, and in almost* the same condition. (*the EYE2 logo is covered for obvious reasons). -

Lemon will not appear on Monday's show. UPDATE: Or on Tuesday's show. Sara Sidner will fill in. He was absent on Friday due to a pre-planned vacation that will now extend. He will return on Wednesday.

It's possible. Not Likely but it's possible.

That's planned for primetime. https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2022/02/susan-lucci-provides-update-on-the-status-of-pine-valley-the-primetime-reboot-of-all-my-children-in-development-at-abc Because it's cheaper, does well even with low ratings and makes back much more money.

I know that's right. Josh was one of my favorite elements of GMA, but his departure and the reasoning was his own undoing. Had he bided his time at either NBC or CBS, something great would've opened up for him down the line.

Jim Gardner Reducing Schedule, to Retire at End of 2022
Action Newsroom replied to Morphtato's topic in Philadelphia News
That was a wonderful broadcast. Everyone's "thank yous" and honors were sweet, and Jim's farewell message was humble, poignant, beautiful and unforgettable. His shout out to his successors Rick Williams and Brian Taff was lovely also. I like everyone else will miss him dreadfully; but he deserves his retirement, and I know he'll live his best life with his family. Thank you, Mr. Gardner. -
I think the new package is really good at this moment. There are some things about it that could be better (like the usage of the call signs where/when applied), but it's very nice imo. Can't wait for when the other stations implement it.

Ana Cabrera has confirmed her departure from CNN.

I'd like the logo better with the white border (those colors will get camouflaged at some points in promos.) I really don't like the new font.

As confirmed during a investment firm conference earlier today, Nexstar will use the proceeds -- $155 million of net cash -- from the sale of its Chicago property the Freedom Center (to Bally's for a future billion-dollar casino on the site) to invest in operations of The CW. (The pending sale was already publicly disclosed recently.) https://deadline.com/2022/11/nexstar-cw-investment-funded-by-proceeds-from-sale-chicago-property-casino-1235173891/

An excellent choice. His pickup of Schitt's Creek for Pop TV (along with its subsequent surge in popularity on Netflix) and especially its cleanup at the 2020 Primetime Emmys for its final season make him a perfect candidate.

Oh wow. I'm gonna miss it; I used to love watching it for the quick forecasts and (especially) the music.
